The biggest compliment I can give is this felt like a home cooked meal made by somebody who can really cook. The food was delicious, the portions generous and the chef came out afterward to thank us for coming which was very sweet and appreciated....More

Although friendly service throughout the food is overpriced and of average quality. Much better Moroccan options elsewhere

Excellent service and amazing food. Would recommend the pastilla and the chicken tagine. We turned up almost 1 hour before our booking and , although they were busy, they couldn't have been more welcoming and acommodating. We will be going back

We had a big group of 17 people and Losine organised a set menu for us. We had a lovely evening. The food was as usual very very good. A real gem of tooting! Thanks Losine and team :-)

I visited this restaurant with my husband on a date. It had a lovely atmosphere and decor. We had great starters - I would recommend the chicken pastilla, though I'm not sure it needs the dusting of icing sugar personally (sorry if I'm disrespecting a...More

Description
Tangia is an independent family run trendy restaurant serving traditional Moroccan and Mediterranean dishes with a modern gourmet twist. We also have seating for those seeking a coffee or just a drink from the bar. On walking through the doors of Tangia, you will experience a welcoming ambiance that will make you feel relaxed yet excited about what is to come. Order from our extensive menu and be amazed by the flavours running through your mouth. Our menu accommodates for all food eaters,. The restaurant seats 42 people and is beautifully decorated with Moroccan themed artwork throughout the business. The name Tangia comes from a clay cooking pot traditionally used in Morocco to prepare slow cooked meat dishes (stews). The same word is also used for the stew which is cooked in this pot.
