12 of us wanted to have dinner and reserved a table for dinner. It was a get together for us, we were rushed to order the food and pressured to empty the table as quickly as possible. Food was bit spicy and we were repeatedly...ask for water and other items since multiple folks were bringing food to the table. Not a great experience.More

Tucked away off a side street, this is a little gem. The Southern Indian food is varied, delicious and they will customize the spice to your liking. I had dessert as well and found the kulfi rather lacking in flavor and richness.

5/5 Such good experience! The service was great, happy to help and attentive. The food was amazing! As we are from Birmingham, our curry standards are pretty high, we were not disappointed!! This south Indian food was packed with flavour and easy for Gluten Free...options. We will be coming backMore

This establishment has been around for years and it continues to serve the most wonderful, wholesome Indian food. I cannot recommend any more highly.

We visited on 4th June 2022, Jubilee concert weekend. Despite the crowds visiting London, we were able to book a table for two at half an hour's notice. Service was friendly, and the food was delicious. Portions were not big, but sensibly sized, considering that...most people order far too much at Indian restaurants anyway! We ate all our mains and still had room for a pudding, and left feeling full. Downsides - they don't sell onion rice or naan. Some items on the menu were unavailable. Toilet facilities are lacking. The have two loos, one male, one female, but they both offer exactly the same facilities. They could therefore be labelled as gender neutral. It's just a bathroom, anyone should should be able to use either. The flushing capability of said toilets was dubious.More

Food was great. Service was friendly. We ordered the thalis and it was very authentic. Almost as good as you get in India. Value for money. Will definitely return!

This is a great restaurant. I wanted Indian food so I came here and ordered the non-vegetarian thali and mango lassi. They were both great! The staff was very friendly and I could tell that they cared about the customers. Will definitely return here!

Absolutely fantastic. As good as you get in India. The real deal. Friendly service. Will be my restaurant of choice when visiting the British Museum.

The fish fry and prawns fry lacked flavour. It was toned down to suit the British pallette. However the Biryani was lovely. Again, the chicken dosa lacked flavour. Come to EastHam...to taste the real Chittinad

A trip to London must include a visit to an Indian restaurant. We went to the Chettinad restaurant in London. The food was delicous, lots of different flavours. Staff was diligent and Ila expertly advised and helped us discover new dishes. We had a lovely...dinner in a pleasant setting. Recommended.More

It's not an enormous restaurant but there is definitely enough space for your requirements. There were children eating when we were there.
