The food was tasty and cooked well, the staff were friendly, the only negative was that we had to wait 50mins for a table - we were advised on arrival has table will be max 30 mins. Definitely a shame that you can't book for brunch.

Yeah, lovely atmosphere, great service, nice dining experience but the food is only really average at best. I think I could have chosen differently as my friends chicken dish was excellent, my slimy sausage was slimy. Nice though.

Busy weekend late lunch. Full to the brim. Waited about 20 minutes for a table for two which was not too bad. Staff busy and took time to come back for orders. Food was good, but not exceptional, therefore a bit more expensive when compared with elsewhere less famous or touristy. Interestingly the poached pear was served cold, unexpected but... More

To start I would like to say we previously visited the Electric Diner in October 2015 and had a fantastic meal and since have longed to go back, after making a reservation for a film at the Electric Cinema we decided to go visit again. We were seated as a walk in for 2 people with no wait and given... More

I have spent a LOT of time in Notting Hill and this is the only place I visit for Breakfast / Lunch or Dinner depending on what time of day I am there. Really buzzy atmosphere / attentive staff / delicious food. I always have the Eggs Royale with bacon on the side. The milkshakes are also great. Dinner is... More

The food here is lovely, tasty and plentiful but we had the worst service I have ever experienced. We had a few issues with staying times which is normal in a central London restaurant but the treatment we received about it was disgusting. The hostess is aggressive, rude and just horrid. When we hadn't finished our food in the time... More

Overall the service and timing was terrible. The food and drinks were fine, but slightly expensive for what they are. We had a table booked for 8.30. Weren't seated until 8.50/8.55, after asking 3 times and seeing what looked walk in couples seated before us. At the table we had to ask several times for water, for salt pepper etc.... More

Great vibe for drinks and/or dinner - friendly service, and great drinks. Menu is very American indeed!

had a good lunch meet here, great booths, food and service. music a bit over the top if you're sat on a table with a speaker above you and staff refused to turn down on request, so hard to fully engage in a meeting type lunch but for social has a good vibe. we had a huge salmon main, flattened... Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
