Barrafina was recommended by a friend and it was fabulous. Specials of the day were a lovely surprise. Lots of small dishes to share. Super fresh and high quality produce. Service was efficient, warm and friendly. Wines by the glass are great too. Highlights: the...More

We went twice to this crowded restaurant and we enjoyed our diner. As they don't accept reservations you must be there waiting at the queue before the opening. The second time we went, the tapas weren't tiny but larger portions, not as a regular portion...More

Really enjoyed my first experience of Barrafina. We arrived at 9pm and although it was busy we were still able to order food and drink whilst standing. This obviously meant you can eat & drink whilst waiting for a table which we thoroughly enjoyed. All...More

We avoided the que by being at the door when it opened. The timing was perfect for aperitifs and good tapas. We were ready to try the new tapas creations beside the common ones. The tapas were indeed creative and fanciful. After the serving of...More

This place serves the best Tapas I have ever eaten, including Spain. The octopus was sublime. Chargrilled baby artichokes fabulous. We were 2 hungry adults and a ravens teenager and we were wonderfully sated. Thank you to the chef :))))))

Barrafina was my restaurant in town. However the move to Dean Street and the loss of Nieves is obvious. The head chef was a disaster- stressed, no personality and frankly not a great chef. Our steak was over cooked and after the third effort it...More

Would I wait again for another 90 minutes? Possibly no. But I would, for 45 minutes. You just have to manage your time. The food is as good as it gets. Out of a dozen dishes we had, only one or two were average. The...More

They will do - but from my experience you can't ever reserve tables, so if busy which it normally is you would have to either sit apart, or potentially wait in a queue quite a while until enough seats in a row become... More

Dear Seamus1973, Thank you for your question. I'm afraid we don't have high chairs at our restaurants, we just have our high stools. Thanks, Connie Cooper (PR & Marketing)

Barrafina is an authentic Spanish tapas bar located in London's Soho. It serves a traditional but contemporary, regional a la carte menu and there is a daily blackboard of specials, created by Executive Head Chef, Barragan Mohacho. Barrafina operates a first come first serve queuing system, and does not take reservations for their 23 stools. However, part of the fun of dining there is eating little bites and sipping on something delicious while making the line. The kitchen is open and guests are close to all the action and drama while their food is prepared.
