Came here for a wonderful, romantic brunch and was enchanted by every single little bit. The decoration on the walls and the attention to detail across the furniture to the table dressing...was incredible. Even the foyer was a joy. The service too was amazing. Very...More

Amazing location and really interesting decor but an abundance of staff who didn’t make you feel particularly welcome and £20 a drink cocktail prices made it a comedy experience where we laughed at the ridiculous cocktail names and pretentious ingredients rather than loving it. Our...More

Lovely atmosphere for a restaurant with good service and a nice vibe. I had risotto, was very tasty and would definitely recommend.

Had breakfast in The Glade. Great experience, well looked after by the staff, who were attentive but not intrusive. Breakfast was very good; I opted for eggs florentine and my sister had scrambled egg with Parmesan, both with a Sketch twist accompanied with artisan bread....More

This was Christmas present from my daughter for brunch. It was expensive and really only a restaurant that you maybe only experience once. It was very quirky and i am glad that we visited.

The lack of attention from waiters is not what you expect when you’re paying £9 for a smoothie. The girl was just oblivious and we had to ask for cutlery, we had to remind her about our side and about the bill twice. Decor impeccable...More

We booked the glade and we were allowed to look around the gallery. I don't think you can book afternoon tea and order just a coffee the afternoon tea is a meal in itself!

Description
The magic surrounding this woodland bar, provides an ideal setting for afternoon tea, comfort food and evening cocktails... Artists Carolyn Quartermaine and Didier Mahieu, have created an enchanted fairy-tale forest. For The Glade at sketch, they have created a decoupage forest which appears like something half-remembered and yet completely contemporary. Taking inspiration from early c20th stationery, they re-painted, enlarged and reversed the design, printing it onto hundreds of metres of paper. Each piece is handcut, and decoupaged to the walls. In this forest, delicate 50s rattan furniture, from the South of France, creates a startlingly modern fairy-tale romance.
