The Pub is packed almost all the time, great fun and really good food. It is not large and it is hard to find a seat on the main level. (we had to share with another couple) This is the place to see and be seen. The garden and building are beautiful

Visited this pub on a Friday evening after spending the whole day touring London landmarks. We were lucky to get a table outside at 19.30. Nice ambience although smoke was a bit annoying as we were with our children. Staff were very friendly and as helpful as they could be as it was very busy inside. Food was alright, decent... More

Great pub, wish it was my local. Good beer and good choice of decent wine. Food was 'good pub grub'. Lovely outside area. The staff friendly and welcoming.

Popped in to this pub whilst on a stag do, was welcomed by the friendly staff into a beautifully decorated, bright pub. A great selection of beers but the highlight was the Cumberland sausage bangers and mash, it was Devine! The mash was creamy with cabbage entwined topped with a perfectly cooked Cumberland sausage and smothered in a rich gravy.... More

This tavern is located in a nice area. Normal London pub, however, the braised lamb (quantities limited) shoulder is EXCELLENT!

Now we normally drive past this place but have never been in. A friend of mine was looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch, and Scardale Tavern was suggested. And I wasn't disappointed. Staff here are amazingly friendly and service was spot on. It gets very busy for lunch on Sunday, lucky for us, we booked in advance. I had their... More

Went to this place with some friends. The roast was amazing, where the meat was star attraction. .. the veg was perfectly cooked and fresh. Place had good service, good food and was dog friendly. Nice roaring fire too. Book or get there early for a table.

Ok where to start? Apart from being the real thing, its has a great little area at the front full of flower baskets, inside, its all real, the log fire, the great staff, good beer, wine and really good food. Its one of my favourite places to meet friends, have a meal etc, what is also nice is it gets... More

We have been in London three weeks and have visited here many times. We have taken several sets of friends and we all love it. It is warm and cozy. Nice selection of beer and ales on tap and the food is delicious. Check the specials board - always good. We are here two more which will include many more... More

Nicely located several blocks off Cromwell so you have to make a small effort to find it. Arrived around 5pm on a Thursday and there were tables available. I am reporting as a tourist from the U.S. and was worried we were not familiar with the protocols of that particular local (order drinks from table? from the bar? order food... More
