This restaurant, part of the Apex hotel, was a place I walked past many a time and finally thought I would give it a go with a friend for an early evening meal. Place was nice and quiet but started to fill up later. Simple layout and minimal decor gives it a clean fresh feel. Meals are al a carte... More

The Addendum Restaurant will never disappoint for dining quality. Great selection of choices, flavors are delectable, and very convenient if you are staying at the Apex City of London Hotel. However, we did find the breakfast menu a bit 'pricey'.

Went there on a 50% open table discount . 90 % of the starters were off the menu! The food that we did have was distinctly below average to match the service. The duty manager did offier the wine on the house. I would rather have gone to McDonald's at the price we paid.

We arrived at The Apex City of London Hotel on an early Sunday morning. After a long flight across the pond from the US, we were starving. Fortunately, the hotel's restaurant was open for breakfast. We ordered The Great British Breakfast and it was a good way to start our London visit. The plate includes Cumberland sausage, bacon, Portobello mushroom,... More

We were a bit late for dinner and thought that the restaurant was already closed. But the bar was still open to get food there. The personnel was very friendly and courteous. The service we expereinced in restaurants during this week in England was not bad, but this one stood out especially. The difference was obvious in how they were... More

So, decided on lunch here with a friend. The restaurant looked lovely, clean and inviting. Same could be said for the menu so it was a winner all round. As we were on a lunch break with only an hour to spare, we decided to have something quick and light. We specifically asked if the portion size would be enough... More

Good variety breakfast. A little expensive, but does cater to all tastes. Nice service and staff made sure to be quick.

Last time when I was staying in the APEX hotel I just wanted a quick meal so I have decided to try out Addendum, the restaurant on the ground floor. The buffalo mozzarella salad was nicely arranged and the taste was fine. The sesame seared tune I cannot recommend. The smell and the test was not great. The tiramisu at... More

Addendum is the restaurant of the APEX City London and it is located in the hearth of The City, near the London Tower. We come here to have dinner the day we arrived London and we went to the Pub zone. It was very relaxing (we arrived a bit late and there was nobody) and we ate a caesar salad,... More

Description
The dining room itself is a simple pleasure. Understated, contemporary decor & subdued lighting will immediately make you feel relaxed. The sense of style and intimacy grows, whether you choose to sink into an opulent leather booth, or, if you are part of a larger party, opt for a more open space.

Drawing on our Chef's extensive experience, the menu has been seducing an ever-increasing crowd of gastronomic disciples since its launch at the end of 2005. Offering an array of modern dishes, he puts the accent on the finest seasonal ingredients available. It is easy to see why the restaurant has already received awards since opening.

For al fresco dining at lunch ask to be seated at the front of the hotel, overlooking tranquil gardens, the area is light and airy, boasting fully opening, double height, floor-to-ceiling windows.

An extensive wine list along with superb service and glamorous surroundings makes the restaurant an ideal venue for every occasion.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
