I had the "Burger Lux", Bacon Fried Egg and Rarebit. My wife had the Chicken, Ham and Leek Pie, Looks big and plenty of filling,... More

I have lived in Greenwich for a number of years and have visited this place a fair few times over the years. However, I haven't been here for a while and was looking forward to it. I have to say, what a real disappointment. The venue is still great, staff attentive and a reasonable selection of wines. Unfortunately that's where... More

Among the best places to enjoy the typical atmosphere of Greenwich. Good food and great kindness of all the staff. Absolutely recommended.

Third visit but with a different group of people so hoping they like my choice but, Oh! the management of the place. Plenty of staff but nobody quite seems to know whose serving whom. Trays of food brought up to the mezzanine and left to sit there because all the staff have gone downstairs, drink orders taken and not fulfilled... More

Came here for brunch, was a lovely restaurant and the food was good. Service was a little slow but our waiter seemed very nice and was quick to come over when we managed to get his attention. They're also not great at replying to emails (I didn't have a moment to ring and wanted to ask about dietaries) - I... More

...which probably rates a 3+ ! Friendly service, delicious hot bread, good food generally (if a little dry/over heated), a pleasant atmosphere. Would go here again if in the area ; just nothing 'standout' !!

Restaurant staff accommodated our party of 10 without a reservation even though the restaurant was quite busy. Food, service and staff were fantastic. Highly recommend!!

Our first trip to Greenwich and decided to book brunch before heading to Greenwich Theatre to watch 'Lizzie' The decor and ambiance were great, friendly attentive staff and a lovely menu. The eggs Royale were scrumptious, boiled eggs with soldiers just perfect & the bubble & squeak with fried eggs & mushrooms hit the spot! Definitely recommend this spot for... More

Lovely family lunch. Great oysters and beautiful Welsh Black beef. Wide choice of wines by the glass/half or full bottle. Very friendly and efficient service. Warm , relaxed feel about the place. Ring to book a table as online sometimes tells you it's full

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
