Situated in Bermondsey, the surrounding area is full of character and this restaurant complements its surroundings so well. Not particularly big, it is full of quirky design and even manages to squeeze in a mezzanine table. We felt spoilt for choice on the menu which was more Malaysian than Thai. The Rendang curry was delicious but there are plenty of... More

This wonderful restaurant is slightly off the beaten track, yet still five minutes from London Bridge Station. The restaurant has a real bohemian chic vibe; dark and brooding, warm and intimate, exotic and evocative all at the same time. The food is delightful, a good smattering of traditional Thai classics, muddled with Champor-Champor interpretations of modern Thai cuisine. It really... More

We've given up on this place. You Book a table, turn up. Great confusion every time. Much staring and gawping by staff. Haven't they seen regular white middle class people before? It's very of-putting. We went a few times but felt like we had two heads. Enough.

We found this little restaurant on TripAdvisor during our recent visit to London and as we are always keen to try independent places rather than the 'chains' were so glad we did. The quality of food and service was really great and the price very reasonable considering you are in London. Appetisers and main courses were superb. A very enjoyable... More

Booked a table in the private dining area for 8 people. It was nice and private and away from the noises of other customers. If you only eat halal the restaurant offers halal chicken. The food was very flavoursome and yummy, the décor was very quirky and we were seated very quickly. Presentation of the food was fantastic. Main reasons... More

Our son took us to this Thai restaurant. We had never eaten Thai food before. The food was excellent, the service was excellent - very helpful staff when choosing from menu.. Decor lovely, and the restaurant was relaxing and welcoming. Would recommend.

Food tasty but unimaginatively presented. Cheerful and helpful staff but surroundings had a tired patina - not vibrant like Thailand .

So tucked away under the shadow of the Shard I was looking forward to some fab Thai food in a homely environment - I was hoping for a secret find as independent restaurants are being run out of town by restaurants with larger backers behind them... The restaurant looked cute from the outside and inside cosy... The staff lacked passion... More

Had a wonderful meal with friends. I thought the service was excellent. Really enjoyed the food, especially the prawn green curry. A modern twist on a Thai classic and oh so tasty 😋

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
