We spent a great time at the restaurant! Nice plates presentations! Service was nice! The friendly touch is more than welcome in a Michelin star restaurant. We feel at ease! One little thing perhaps, food might need a little more "peps". Being able to see...More

We have enjoyed Robuchon in Paris and Las Vegas but the London spot has been a favorite. Sitting at the counter and watching the show is part of the experience. The creativity and quality shines in every course - the chocolate mouse dessert is awesome...More

This was definitely a different style of lunch I'm used to. The service I found very attentive & the counter style table looking into the kitchen is a nice touch. You can see your lunch cooked & plated up in front of you. With the...More

Not your typical Michelin star restaurant. The layout of the restaurant is very different to what you'd expect to get in a fine dining restaurant which I guess makes it unique. However slightly impractical. Instead of normal tables the layout of the restaurant is mostly...More

Been visiting L'Atelier almost since the opening. Service can at times be not so great, but the food is still highest standard. Love the ground floor counter seating, but if you're a bigger group - go for La Cuisine. Don't forget to check out the...More

Although it was a it pricey the pre-theater menu at Robuchon is worth every penny. Many of the set pre theater menus at other restaurants are ordinary- not here. The dishes were interesting and inventive and did not feel like a pre-theater meal at all....More

Sadly, this place is no longer quite as good as it used to be. I used to be a huge fan, but was told a few months ago when visiting the Parisian restaurant that their head chef had been sent to London to help to...More

Smart casual would be fine (for gentlemen, khaki slacks and a blazer with a nice shirt -- tie optional). Feel free to dress up a bit better if you'd like, but it isn't necessary.

Drawing on Joel Robuchon's internationally renowned culinary expertise, already accredited with several Michelin Stars at restaurants throughout the world, L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon's philosophy is based on serving simple cuisine of the most exceptional quality. This London restaurant has been awarded Michelin Star, as well as 3 AA Rosettes, establishing it as one of the most exceptional places to dine in London. Robuchon's menu delights the palate with clean insightful flavours and refreshingly understated presentation. The dishes are predominantly French with Italian and Spanish influences. The dining experience at L'Atelier is an interactive one. On the ground floor, the eating counter surrounds the entire kitchen where the food is prepared. Robuchon sees the immediate benefit of this Japanese-inspired layout to chefs, as one can gauge the reaction of clients, and even converse with them whilst they watch their food being prepared. Unlike the sister restaurants in Paris and Tokyo, the London restaurant also has another 20 seats where diners can sit opposite each other. Meanwhile, La Cuisine on the first floor offers more traditional restaurant seating in a setting that could be likened to dining in the kitchen itself. Wherever you are seated you will enjoy the highest quality food in an informal, convivial environment. Valet parking is also available. Please note, last reservations are taken half an hour prior to closing time. Dress code: Smart Casual, shorts are not permitted.
