Stayed in October 2016, was attending a wedding and the location was ideal, from the time of arrival to our departure it was amazing, it was a pity it was just for 2 days, every place was accessible either walking or a taxi, we had the wedding on the 2nd day and it was a late one, the staff were... Standard good 4-5 star hotel breakfast. There are so many places nearby that you can easily find comparable or better places but it is good.

Simply superb! From start to finish, my partner & I enjoyed her birthday treat of a Royal Afternoon Tea in the Wellington Lounge. A very friendly welcome was found at this elegant and spotlessly clean and tidy hotel, particularly in the tea room area. We were mainly attended to by Stefan, who really was most polite and attentive in a... More

Lovely time spent here, the service was fabulous. Such attention to detail, warm and friendly welcome from the staff and a fantastic choice on the afternoon tea, great choice of speciality teas too. Definitely recommend.

I have been to London hundreds of times, first time I stayed here and I loved it! The restaurant was formal with a less formal one in the bar area which still had a lovely menu service for breakfast/cocktails in the evening. Great workout facilities and quiet beautiful room.

Very good hotel in a fabulous location, staff very helpful & pleasant, rooms modern & clean, worth paying for a club room as the food, drinks & service in the club lounge are excellent.

Once again, we all felt like regular visitors at this hotel. I enjoy everything about it; staff, rooms, location, bar, dining, etc... You can literally stay the whole day in the hotel but you're in London so, get out and see this beautiful city. The hotel is a short walk to Hyde Park Corner tube station and a good 10... More

Unbeatable brunch. It is pricey but includes unlimited food and free flowing bubbles so as a treat it is good. Wonderful choice of food from eggs royale, pancakes and waffles to a very fresh salad bar, including sushi, to main courses and finally deserts. Excellent quality and tasty. Good service as well. Currently in a different venue, namely part of... More

Everything about this place outdid my expectations. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable and the restaurant is very stylish. I thought beforehand that the price was high but it is definitely worth it and I will be making another visit to this establishment.

This is a restaurent in the IC Park Lane hotel. They asked if we would like a glass of champagne. On the bill they charged us an unbelievable GBP 29 for each glass (they should have mentioned that!), the rest of the menu was in the same price category.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
