We go out of our way to go to this Wagamama because several of the usual dishes have an extra tasty twist, for example the wagamama ramen is served with mussels in shells and large prawns. At this branch I love the chef specials, especially the bream donburi - amazing. This is a busy branch but they've got the wagamama... More

My fiance and I visited this place for dinner. The food was good value for money, big portions, good choice of dishes. The staff was friendly and talkative, we spoke with a Brazilian waitress and she was smiling and helpful. We had duck ramen and yaki soba - absolutely delicious!

Today i deciced to visit Wagamama, because of the miserable weather i felt like it was Einter and so i decided to warm up with a nice noodle soup. Well,it was a decent service, despite being quite busy and noisy, food took a while to arrive, but then the place was busy. The food was OK, but a little on the... More

We are great fans of Japanese food and Wagamama gives us a good break. The Wigmore Street London Wagamama is one of the best in London because of the food quality and the staff too. The place is always neat and clean and staff welcoming.

Been here several times and found it ok. This week was terrible - one dish was so hot with chilli we had to send it back, there was no mention of spice in the dish. The rice was dry. The Oolong tea was so strong that it wasn't enjoyable. Being a person who has spent 25 years travelling to China... More

I usually love Wagamamas and have been to a few of their restaurants. I went to this branch in Wigmore Street and ordered the chilli beef and my friend ordered the chilli chicken. The meat was so dry we had to send them back and order something else. I got the pork belly ramen which was better but the water... More

What a shame. Obviously the food was great - it was Wagamama, same everywhere, but the toilets are seriously in need of attention. Four stalls. One clearly had s flush problem, one had a door that kept springing open, one was permanently occupied (or out of order). All of them were yuck. Not what you expect from an uber-busy, established... Money down the drain. Ordered a "ramen" with omelette and tofu. I could cook better at home! The "soup" was just plain water. Tasteless egg noodles, fried tofu but skin coming out as it has been soaked in water for a while. Omelette tasted bland. They literally threw everything into a bowl of water and viola serve it to customers.... More

The waiting staff were great at finding suitable food for my son who is allergic to everything. Lovely mint tea and fresh juices. The squid starter was lovely I could've had it as a main! It was nice and quiet as we were there as it opened (11am on a Sunday) It was nice to see the chefs cooking over... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
