Fantastic gem in the heart of London. I have visited here a few times 10 years or so ago and thought I'd give it a try on our recent city break in the capital. My Partner hadn't visited before and she loved the food. Onion...Bhaji and Chicken Malaber made medium spice for her. Chicken Masala Dosa and and unpronounceable Lamb dish for me. The restaurant was busy on arrival but we managed to get a table for 2 just at around 7.45. 10 minutes later and we would have misses out. The food was fantastic and my lamb was so well cooked and was probably the best lamb I've ever eaten in an Indian Restaurant. The Dosas are their speciality and rightfully so. The Malabar was spiced perfectly with a bit of a kick but not too much. Large Cobras, friendly service and great food. 10/10 thankyou.More
Booked a table here for a Friday evening out with my boyfriend after walking past it a while back, thinking it looked interesting. We love curry, and love discovering new restaurants. So happy we came!!! The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious!...A little different from the usual curry places we go to, different dishes, different flavours and so so good! It's a small restaurant so would highly recommend you book in advance. We will definitely be back, and we will bring our friends as well next time, they will love it as much as we did!More
Found this little Indian restaurant by chance, and don't regret it! Walking in was like walking into another world, bamboo sticks decorated the ceiling and walls. Very friendly and pleasant staff. The food was absolutely devine! Plates were warm as they should be, food very...tasty and well presented. The menu has so much choice took a while for me to chose which is good because it will give me reason to visit often! Their KFC was absolutely delicious, nothing like the ordinary high street KFC, the Pilau rice was great, nice and fluffy, the various dips with the poppadoms was out of this world especially the red coloured one which tasted like red onions with a kick! Very reasonable priced and good portions. Didn't wait long for the food. I would recommend visiting this little gem.More
This was so so good! The service was amazing and loved the food. Not expensive for London and all in all 10/10 experience!
The curries were absolutely delicious as was the paratha bread and coconut rice. There was more than enough and the prices were completely reasonable. The hospitality was so sweet and kind. The place is fairly small and secluded making it really authentic
I had an worst experience of my life by spending more than £90 on the food from Ragam. Worst, stale , not at all fresh food they are selling. I am sure it is prepared atleast a day before and put in the fridge and...just selling by heating on the date of order. One of my family member got ill as well and had to spent all night puking. Please be aware before you try the food from this restaurant. I will never recommend anyone even if Ragam is giving food for free. Packed food from Tesco's etc stores will be far better and fresh than this restaurant food. Please also see there is not even a single bad review on their website as they do not let that reflected on their website. I am sure even on delivery sites good reviews are put up by their own known people considering the kind of food they are selling. Be SafeMore
Very good and affordable in the heart of Fitzrovia. The restaurant is quite small so advance booking is recommended.
Very tasty curry. Great place for nice evening meal and very friendly staff. Nice to support local in this crazy time
Managed to have dinner here on my second attempt, first time i had no reservation and this small restaurant was full, second time I reserved and of course it was half empty! Keralan cuisine with a very interesting menu, after a lot of studying and...consulting with the waiter I went for a Dosa and then the Erachi Ularthiyathu (also known as the "Lamb with the long name") which was a thick sauce, very intense spicy curry ... absolutely delicious. I will be back, with the intention of trying other things from the menu, but the reality is that I will probably go for the lamb again it was so good!More
