I had an worst experience of my life by spending more than £90 on the food from Ragam. Worst, stale , not at all fresh food they are selling. I am sure it is prepared atleast a day before and put in the fridge and...just selling by heating on the date of order. One of my family member got ill as well and had to spent all night puking. Please be aware before you try the food from this restaurant. I will never recommend anyone even if Ragam is giving food for free. Packed food from Tesco's etc stores will be far better and fresh than this restaurant food. Please also see there is not even a single bad review on their website as they do not let that reflected on their website. I am sure even on delivery sites good reviews are put up by their own known people considering the kind of food they are selling. Be SafeMore

Very good and affordable in the heart of Fitzrovia. The restaurant is quite small so advance booking is recommended.

Managed to have dinner here on my second attempt, first time i had no reservation and this small restaurant was full, second time I reserved and of course it was half empty! Keralan cuisine with a very interesting menu, after a lot of studying and...consulting with the waiter I went for a Dosa and then the Erachi Ularthiyathu (also known as the "Lamb with the long name") which was a thick sauce, very intense spicy curry ... absolutely delicious. I will be back, with the intention of trying other things from the menu, but the reality is that I will probably go for the lamb again it was so good!More

The food was lovely and delicious, the decor beautiful bamboo and the service kind and friendly. The toilet room was a bit long and cold. The eating room was a pleasant temperature.

After an day of 6 Nations nothing better than a quick Ruby and Ragam delivered. A plain and simple decor with simple furniture, a little cramped nothing special on wooden table tops, no table cloth and school canteen style chairs. Welcoming staff with prompt service...who served lovely food from a menu with a varied selection. Cobra beer on tap and ample portions.More

I have visited RAGAM before the massive renovation the did last year, and also visited RAGAM after the works. The change is massive with regards to the atmosphere. It is beautiful and very cozy in there now. It got such a great CARACTHER. In relation...to food, it was lovely before the works but must say they have improved on this as well. Both, food and cutlery/crockery are so authentic. Real south indian cuisine. Regarding the service, owner of the place is been lovely always, he is always around making sure everything is as expected. I noticed they changed and improve the staff service which is now brilliant. Yes, I would trully recommend RAGAM if you are looking for a authentic south indian experience, for any occasion: business, solo, with friends for birhtday parties.Family friendly too. The little one of our house loved it! MxMore

This intimate and cozy South Indian restaurant transported me right back to the backwaters of Kerala. From its stunning decor to the mouthwatering dishes, it really is a must visit. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouth-watering starters followed by traditional South...Indian main courses, specially designed to accommodate all dietary requirements. For starters i had garlic mogo, chilli cauliflower, squid fry and their authentic twist on fried chicken. All dishes looked and tasted exquisite. I’m usually let down by main courses at Indian restaurants, as they don’t usually live up to the standards of the starters. However I was pleasantly surprised. The mains were just as delicious, if not more so. From the succulent lamb Biriyani, the tender chilli chicken, the smokey lamb fry and spicy malabar King prawn curry, I was not disappointed at all. Some of the most authentic, tastiest food I’ve had since being in south India. All dishes were freshly prepared on order and the quality of ingredients shone through. The restaurant also offers a variety of drinks, including the best mango lassi I’ve had at any restaurant. If you’re a big coffee drinker like myself, don’t miss out on the their traditional South Indian coffee. definitely worth trying. The service was of the highest quality. The young waiter who served me was super friendly and smiley! But what made the experience all the more pleasant was the owner, who is full of warmth and thoughtful of his guests. He is always around ready to hear all types of experiences from you and the rest of the guests, and makes it his goal to ensure you’re having a great time. Because of brilliant atmosphere, delicious food and friendly service, I highly recommend going to this restaurant!More

Found the portions to be really small for the price but they tasted ok. My fish was really overcooked to a point it was like eating chicken. Service was good and decorations etc but lacking in quality of food, small dishes and overcooked dishes.
