Just a great place. Authentic and the dim sum was delicious. Usually go with my friends from Hong Jong and never disappoints. Service is fantastic as well. Highly recommend

We were in London for 1 night and wanted to go to a Chinese restaurant which was a few notches up on the average fare found in much of Chinatown so booked a table at the PP with eager anticipation as it also features in the 2017 Good Food Guide. However whilst the service was pretty good, the food barely... More

We have visited Phoenix Palace many times over the years and have always enjoyed our visits. The service is always excellent and the atmosphere is very pleasant. On this visit we had the Peking Duck, hot and sour soup with lobster, and spicy squid with Szechuan crispy vegetables. Oh so good. Don't miss this restaurant.

This restaurant has been one of our favourite Chinese restaurant in London, they offer not only traditional Cantonese cuisine but dishes that would suite the western pallet. Service could be hit and miss but the food on offer are always of good standards and on this occasion it was good again.

The staff at the restaurant were incredibly discourteous.. bordering on rude. We asked for some still and sparkling water with slices of lemon. She put the slices of lemon in the glasses of sparkling water but bluntly refused to do the same for the still water as she said" we do not do that" She was brash and brusque when... More

interesting atmosphere, above average "rich decoration", service, polite people and above all, excellent Chinese food: Very tasteful soups and starters (duck with pancakes highly recommended, spring rolls and wonk tong too...) and as a main choose: lemon chicken, beef with oyster sauce or scallops in Asian sauce. We had Chinese beer and admit, we liked it. Even deserts, although fried,... More

Came here in a party of 7, they did well to accommodate us and the food we ordered was delicious. The service was on the brash side, I felt the staff had no training whatsoever but the food which was beyond good made up for this. Definitely recommended.

Usually, the service and food is pretty good here. Dim Sum available at lunch and we have eaten dinner here too. So we opted to celebrate Chinese New Year's Eve "Reunion Dinner" here and the Lion Dance added to the festivities. Unfortunately, the timing of the Lion Dance meant that the diners who had the earlier sitting didn't vacate their... More

We've been going here about once a year since it was established. The venue is traditional Hong Kong style, bustling, with a good atmosphere. The food has always been fairly pricey, but good dim sum. Recently, we've noticed that it's going down. The dim sum are not very fresh - a fatal error in this type of cooking. The other... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
