We were looking forward to this, never having dined in a Michelin starred restaurant before, and our expectations were not just met but exceeded. By a distance this was the finest meal we've ever eaten in a restaurant. Every member of the youthful staff was friendly and helpful, and the setting is stylish and comfortable. We chose the three course... More

The dream night. Ten-course taster menu at Marcus, with accompanying wine flight, and staying in the hotel afterwards! Meal was just superb. By the end I had very little space but couldn't stop eating the pudding, his signature "deconstructed Mars Bar". I'm drooling at the memory! Extremely nice staff and a great buzzy place on a cold winter's night.

A busy restaurant with excellent service and food if you can afford it. A very extensive and expensive wine list. We had a la carte choice at 85GBP

Big fan of Marcus and the type of food he creates. My wife and I went for the 8 course and the quality of the food was exceptional and lived up to its reputation. It sounds like slot but each dish are small so by the end, you are full. Service equally engaging and friendly. Be prepared that the course... More

It had been years since we last tried Marcus Wearing at the Berkeley, it has been renovated and changed its name since. We started early at 6.15pm (Monday) so went for the 5 course menu as it was not too late to indulge in a large meal. Our fave dish was the vegetarian 'pumpkin' with its veloute. amazing. the dessert... More

We went to celebrate our son's birthday and were delighted with the meal we had. Very good food, attentive but not overbearing staff and comfortable surroundings. A great place for a celebration.

The food on the 5 course lunch menu was fantastic, and great value. Probably the best course was the first, which was vegetarian. The texture of the kale almost made it like a sea vegetable. Wines to complement each course made a very special birthday lunch. BUT BE CAREFUL: CHECK YOUR BILL. There was not 1, not 2, but 3... More

My partner took me to restaurant Marcus for my birthday. It was a Monday night at the begining of January so we expected it to be empty but every table was used during the evening. You have the option to order a la carte or from a 5 course or 8 course tasting menu. We opted for the 8 course... More

This meal was a very special celebration for us. We have been wanting to visit for a while now and were very much looking forward to a fantastic two Michelin starred dining experience. We chose the 8 course tasting menu, which turned out to be very filling indeed! I can very confidently confirm that the every single dish was to... More

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a meal at Marcus. What a treat indeed! From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, the experience was excellent. A highlight was seeing Marcus himself in the restaurant. While I can imagine he does not help with service these days, it was good to think that he still... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighbourhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
