I really can't understand how it can be a Michelin starred restaurant. Except for the bread which was given for free, nothing is tasty... It didnt taste horrible... but it's really nothing special! Small portion is expected but it is not even small... it is...More

Bread sticks and bread selection is always terrific. Squid & polenta, a special of sweetbreads, John Dory, veal & a shared cheesecake - all excellent. Service had a few misses & English extremely poor in places but still a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Love the room...More

We had an excellent meal here with wine, dessert and after dinner drinks. The atmosphere is lovely and quiet. The service is impeccable. All the food was excellent - we both had pasta and a main entree that was fish. Very enjoyable. And they brought...More

The best dishes were tortelli in brodo, although overcooked and gelato/ sorbetti, which were really over the top. The other dishes - veal, lamb seppie with polenta - were good but not outstanding. By a starred restaurant I expect more.

The only criticism is of the service and this is always brought home when the bill arrives and it is included. Positive impressions were the food and presentation; the ambiance the fact that tables were not too close together and the lighting meant that you...More

Booked Locanda Locatelli as part of a short break to London with friends. I'm a lover of Italian food and have all Giorgio's cookery books at home. So this was a pilgrimage of sorts. Booked well in advance by phone and received a welcoming return...More

Good food - particularly enjoyed the breads. Quail dish and oxtail ravioli were let down by fragments of bone. Cannoli were delicious. Fairly attentive service. A bit pricey.

Booked this as myself and my wife enjoyed Giorgio Locatelli's books and his clear love of Italian and especially Sicilian cuisine. The restaurant is now housed in an expensive, Marylebone hotel on the corner of Portman square. The spirit of the place is that of...More

Took the family there. Hadn't been since 2003. Had fond memories and was worried I'd be disappointed or had embellished. Fair to say it was awesome from wine choice to dishes. All great!! Keep going!

Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it

Sempre meglio prenotare!! Ogni volta che ci sono andata (prenotando prima) ho trovato tutti i tavoli occupati.
