Impeccable service and attention to detail this restaurant never fails to disappoint. Perfectly executed dishes with great flavours and as always there are many things on the menu that I would choose. Finished off with rich, strong coffee which you so often do not receive. Great lunch.

I went to Le Caprice for a business dinner in December 2016. I am not a gourmand, but I love food. I don't love "European Cuisine" which can translate into French cuisine, but I did enjoy this restaurant. The service was attentive, the restaurant was lively without being loud, and the ambiance was nice. I enjoyed my meal as did... More

What a fabulous night we had last week at Le Caprice. Tucked away in a small corner of Mayfair this place just oozes charm and old school understated excellent service. This is one of the finer side of London's eating institutions -make no mistake. We sat at the bar and had a supper for 2 and each course was just... More

Small and busy place. Good service. Cuisine varies from fish and chips to Italian food. Taste is ok but nothing special.

Great location and easy to find. Very welcoming staff and pre dinner drinks were very well presented (G&T had real roses) We had a table tucked in the corner so it was not too tight or dark but I think some of the other tables are a little close and the restaurant is quite dark. Having said that the food... More

We did not arrive till after 10.00pm and the restaraunt was very busy and tgreat atmosphere. The staff were very accommodating as we were a little late , Unfortunatley they had run out of a couple of the dishes we wished to order , but the food that we did receive was very good , varied menu and prices very... 10 friends out for late lunch and perfectly accommodated by Le Caprice . Staff friendly , humorous and obliging , nothing too much trouble . Excellent choices of food and good wine list . No complaints just happy empty plates . Our second visit here and still love the place . Highly recommended !

We were a party of 8 and had booked for a Sunday lunch last week. We were allocated a 2:30pm slot. Our party arrived between 2:40 - 3:10pm due to heavy traffic. The location, ambiance and service were very good. However, food left a lot to be desired! The Tiger Prawns and Grilled Corned Beef for starters were very disappointing... More

Staying in St. James's

Neighbourhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
