It's nearly 30 years since I last dined here and I don't think it has changed very much! The decor certainly hasn't changed – art deco meets cruise liner bling. Staff are discreet and attentive. Le Caprice is just around the corner from the Ritz...More

When you're having a catch-up lunch with someone you've known for close to 40 years for me the choice makes itself. The food is exquisite, the service is discrete and the bill is suitably chunky. This is a place to take your time and enjoy...More

Overdue review for Le Caprice, possibly my favourite place to have lunch outdoors over the summer, or simply meet a friend for a glass of wine and some cheese. Upscale, elegant, with professional service and a very fabulous wine list - Le Caprice works on...More

Always enjoy lunch at this classic London restaurant in St James. Food is delicious, service professional and great atmosphere. Not surprised it is still going strong after 35 years.

A lovely discreet family favorite. Food always perfect, with menus to suit anyone. Ambiance is welcome and the bar is good for a gin while you wait.

We went for early (19.00) dinner with two friends. We found the service to be fine, unlike some other reviewers. Between us we had many different dishes and everyone enjoyed what they had (I found the tuna ceviche and Thai seabass to be excellent). Wine...More

St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier

a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s

There is a modest area inside the restaurant and a good number of tables alfresco. I am sure that if you ask to reserve an area they would consider it given enough notice
