We organised our regular friends dinner at the Laughing Gravy for the 4th time in May 17 and the restaurant continues to deliver excellent food, service and ambience. Situated in a discreet location on Blackfriars Bridge Road, this is really a hidden gem. Beautifully thought out dishes that fuse seasonal and regional ingredients with innovative presentation and well balanced flavours.... More

We booked for Sunday lunch and are now convinced we've found the best place to head for a roast in the whole of London! The food is absolutely delicious and, at £17.50 for a generous helping of roast chicken with duck fat potatoes, a huge Yorkshire pudding, carrots and cabbage, very good value. We really didn't have room for dessert... More

This place has it all: Great food, Lovely atmosphere, Fantastic service, creative cocktails. We are looking for a reason to go back. We went after an afternoon show at the Old Vic and it wasn't very crowded (until about an hour later). Our cocktails, while a bit over priced, were perfect. Our stater of the Scallop and Crayfish Scotch Egg... More

Great food in a traditional yet contemporary pub with welcoming and friendly staff. The staff showed a thorough understanding of the menu and were able to advise us on every dish. The food was elegant and delicious. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

very modern styled restaurant in London - located a little bit outside of city center but reachable with tube without any problems (about 10mins walking distance from tube); excellent food and drinks (but pricey), staff very polite and attentive; steak was very very well done (ate it medium of course)

We went there for Sunday lunch, I was not sure when we got there from the outside. What a nice surprise when we went in, great food, friendly staff, well done.

Its a really quirky little place and unless you are told about it I don't think its a place that will crop up much in searches. However the decor is really nice, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is incredible. We had a starter, main and dessert and wasn't disappointed by any of the courses! It... More

This was a great place and the food was delicious. We were initially served by the owner who was very polite. We asked the waitress about the unusual name and she told us the whole story, all the staff were exceptionally nice. The Cornish mackerel tartar eclair was an amazing starter. Worth a trip if you are a 'foodie'. It... More

Very friendly staff. Didn't have my first choice Main or dessert left. Food was good. Mains took a while to come out. Perhaps 30 mins after ordering. We didn't order a starter.
