We went here excited for some French food but came away so disappointed and angry about how much of a rip off it was. The food was tasty when it eventually arrived about an hour after we first arrived. It took about twenty minutes for...More

I will have to agree with the most of the previous and most recent reviews. The waitress certainly needs some vacation or some training on how to treat the customers as she is lacking the very basic manners - being polite & friendly. VERY disappointing...More

Rudest staff I have ever been served by. It is a shame as the actual restaurant is lovely and in a great spot. Would never go again

Called in here on Saturday after a matinee show as it was the only place around with a table. On entering I asked for and was provided a table for 3 (me, my mum and my teenage daughter). Asked for a menu and this was...More

I was walking around the busy streets with a friend I haven’t seen in years and Antidote stuck out to us as a quiet wine bar in the middle of the chaos so we could sit quietly and have a drink. The bar was nice,...More

The surly attitude of the staff and especially the manager meant we didn’t actually eat. Concept of looking after a customer seemed totally alien. I am glad we left

Great location just behind Liberty's and lovely, chilled interior, and nice wine list. Not so sure what management was thinking about the food and especially pricing. Firstly menu is very small, I turned around the page to see if this was all! Short menus don't...More

Had a dinner here the week before the Xmas break and despite the mess and throng of people outside, this was a haven of quiet, courteous service and good food. Staff friendly, attentive and not overbearing. Wines interesting and good range. Will be back. Portions...More

horrible service- extremely expensive - waitress needs an holiday as she is treating clients badly - they charged us a wine which was un-drinkable. if you don’t want to waste your time go somewhere else

Owner was in the restaurant talking to all tables about menu and most importantly wine - very knowledgeable about everything and it’s source. Chateaubriand was amazing! Will be making another visit very soon.
