I took my parents here for lunch on Thursday. Excellent, fairly priced menu with top class cooking and very good service. This is something between excellent bistro and fine dining but all I can say is that if you live in Chiswick/Ealing then it's impossible...More

Basically, French cooking, always interesting menu, good service and a broad selection of good quality wines. Consistently high standard which is why the people of Chiswick have been going to La Trompette in numbers for years now - it is reliable and rarely fails.

Fantastic restaurant for lunch or dinner. Have visited previously and can highly recommend it. Great menu and reasonable value. Extensive wine list. As usual with nice restaurants, once you add the wine and drinks this pushes the price up, but this is expected. Very professional...More

This restaurant never disappoints. My wife and I went for lunch and I was pleased to see they have started to offer a 5 course taster menu, and at £49 I think a bit of a bargain. I also had the matching wines for £30....More

Had the dinner time degustation and enjoyed every course, which is unusual for me. Also I wasn't too full at the end which tells me the portion sizes are spot on. Service, wine list and ambiance all too end and overall I found this to...More

Well placed in Chiswick a delicious restaurant full of flavour and variety. The waiters and waitresses are very pleasant . The dishes are unusual and pleasingly surprising to the palette.A relaxing place for a super meal.

La Trompette is a beautiful little restaurant off the beaten path and well away from downtown London. That said, it is well worth a trip there and best to take the tube (you will be within a 3 blocks when you get off). The restaurant...More

The menu changes daily, I believe. However, I believe I may have a copy from the time I was there and will try to upload over the next 24 hours.

Frankly fish cutlery has become less and less fashionable even in top restaurants....also a good dishwasher does the job. Quality of products, cooking and service is more important.

Description
La Trompette opened in 2001 and serves some of the best food in London but without the formality or prices associated with the capital’s top end establishments. We closed at the beginning of 2013 for a complete refurbishment, and have expanded to include a brand new kitchen, private dining and improved customer facilities. The new appearance has not changed the focus of the restaurant. The aim is as it always has been, to give all our guests the best possible dining experience from start to finish.
