Do we blame the business rates? Prices are now £4.30 for four slices of sashimi if I remember right. That is pretty expensive for fast food?! Sushi are rolled a bit soggy, but the tempura hand rolls are still the best. A little gone down...More

We have been going here for years. It has not changed a bit and is still the best value in SoHo. Fresh sushi, plenty of choice, reasonably priced. The rolls and sashimi are not very refined but the ingredients are of good quality. The sushi...More

This budget-keiten-bar is brilliant for trying sushi, and then coming back because it’s better and cheaper than the big chains! Places like Yo have very limited raw fish offerings , preferring to stick to high profit items like £5 for a few bits of tuna...More

Visited in the evening on a Saturday. The restaurant is far from glamorous but seating is comfortable. The sushi was OK, nothing special. Not too many choices, but fresh. If you're in the area, it's not a bad choice. Prices are fair.

Modest premisses and service, but the quality of oriental food in high for a very reasonable price. If you want to have a good food (better compared to the average street food) for the price of the latter in 2 min walk from Piccadilly -...More

We wanted to have the conveyor belt experience in particular, since this form of serving sushi is not yet available in Finland. The sushi was quite ok, but not too tasty and the place was a bit pricey, too - for a casual conveyor belt...More

After researching we decided to visit Kulu Kulu in Brewer street for a birthday lunch. The food we initially tried was nice but we then found a black hair in our seaweed. The waiter couldn’t care less and the standard of service was disgraceful...hence the...More

I have been going to KuluKulu for years and years... It's not the absolute panicle of sushi in London, but it's pretty decent and certainly ALLOT better than other more mainstream conveyor sushi outlets.. I don't think I have ever reserved a table/seat at the...More

Portions are generous and service is friendly. Sushi was not well made, no wasabi or nori seaweed to bind it. Tofu purchased from conveyor belt was cold. Miso was excellent though. No "limitless" green tea was offered at any point. Sushi literally fell apart as...More
