J Sheekey has been one of our consistent go to restaurants for a post theatre dining, always open late and always has atmosphere. I've never had a bad meal, but today the service was a little off. My son and I shared a plate (12)...More

We had a very good dinner in a comfortable upscale/casual setting. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed dinner. The food was very good. Service was good but not exemplary. Not quite a "5". I wish TripAdvisor would let us give a 4.5

Our hotel recommended J Sheekey. It was a terrific choice. Nice upscale but relaxed atmosphere. Outdoor seating in good weather. We had Dover Sole, which was beautifully prepared. It was a great place for a pre- theater dinner, which is what we did. A nice...More

My first visit to J sheekey but it won't be my last. Booked for lunch. There is no set menu so it is not an inexpensive lunchtime treat. Our lunch was over £100pp for 3 courses plus wine but every course was excellent. The John...More

Our first visit on 02/09 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Traditional fine dining with superb food and quality service. Not inexpensive but worth every penny. Already booked our next visit with friends for a joint birthday celebration on 23/09. Can't wait!

Excellent staff who helped with wine selection to complement the food selection. Well known for their fish dishes but the desserts were also excellent , especially the cheesecake. Great place for lunch meetings.

We ordered the oysters as a starter. Delicious and very fresh. Squeeze of lemons and spoon of spices make it unforgettable experience. We then order the monkfish and prawn. Surprisingly it was cocked in a curry sauce and served with rice - was good. We...More

They vary but do not include shellfish, so they told me, it is the best fish pie ever in my view, the "sauce" is divine!
