The food is great and Gaby's enthusiasm to ensure you have a good experience deserves the support he gets to keep this gem open. However, twice recently there has been attempts to over charge on the bill. I do not want to believe that this...More

Excellent food, prepared on the premises., Excellent value for money. Next door to the Wyndham's theatre and Leicester Sq station. Unpretentious. Friendly service. The best salt beef sandwiches we've ever eaten.

Visited this restaurant after a friend recommended it to me. The restaurant has a relaxed vibe with a mixed clientele or tourists, theatre people and the odd hipster. The food came in good sized portions and was cooked with love. The prices are London prices...More

This place is an institution, right? Show business people and Jeremy Corbin eat there. The staff are in an old Jewish deli tradition -- i.e., brusque. The salt beef is what they're known for. Mine was dry, to tell the truth, but the pickle was...More

My husband and I have been eating at Gaby's for 45 years, on every visit to London, and the quality and ambience haven't changed a jot. We sat at a table beneath a fan on a hot day and ordered our usual: the special salt...More
