I've been here twice with friends and been very impressed with the speed that the food comes out and with the quality. Sunday evening is often a quiet time for restaurants but El Parador was about half-full by about 7pm which suggests that this is a well-known place for good food and wine. We started with Pure de Habas -... More

Visited here on the off-chance on a rainy Sunday night, as we were staying about 10 mins walk away at the Pullman. I had read reviews a while ago, and remembered that it was well-regarded. Very, very quiet, so we were offered the pick of the tables upstairs. The whole menu was available, which includes a wonderful range of veggie... More

Went here with friends and sat downstairs - upstairs is MUCH nicer. The wine and their choice of wines and their prices are quite good. The food was tasty, but certainly not the best Spanish in town, especially not for the price. It is a good meal, but nothing too remarkable. Good service though and amazing staff.

I took my team here for lunch. it was my second visit and it did not disappoint. The food was superb and I will definitely be going back again! The vegetarian menu is fantastic as well as the meat and fish dishes. Lots of choice.

We came here after a friend raved about it and we weren't disappointed. It was quite busy, which is generally a sign of a good restaurant on a Monday night. There was a good selection of vegetarian tapas, which was one of the reasons we wanted to try it, and they were all good. I don't think I could recommend... More

Suggest you book and not assume you will be able to get a table as El Parador seems to be a secret for those in the know.

Just fab, no I mean it really fab!! They do really good quality food at good value, especially if you get the 3 for 2 deal, sometimes offered for lunch makes it even better value. We had grey mullet, battered hake, baby squid with chilli and garlic, pimientos padron, oyster mushrooms with thyme, Sirlion steak with lime/thyme and garlic, and... More

Found this little gem on TripAdviser as we were staying overnight at the nearby Pullman Hotel. Small restaurant, nothing fancy but with a really homely feel. A great place to find away from the usual tourist traps around Kings Cross/ Euston and really good for families (as long as your young ones eat tapas!) The service was great and the... More

Best Spanish restaurant in town....or so I think (I am not Spanish, but there were a few dinning that evening). The food was glorious and the service exceptional! We had calamari, octopus, gambas, lamb cutlers, empanadillas, artichokes, asparagus, duck... a perfect Navarra wine and tarta Santiago for desert. We loved every bit of it (and sip). The ingredients were fresh,... More

I found this to be the best Spanish tapas restaurant I have eaten in for years. The four of us had some twelve dishes including incredibly sweet acorn fed Iberian ham, tender octopus, pan fried artichoke hearts, pork meatballs, grilled lamb chops marinated in herbs, a perfect green salad and instead of the proverbial patatas bravas, a new twist: Patatas...
