Booked the taster menu for a Friday evening. Warmly welcomed and shown to our table, great atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was just fabulous, I could have stopped after the starters and the calamari salad I could have eaten just on its own. Enjoyed the sorbet to prepare us for the main course and again the two plates, chicken... More

I have been going to this restaurant for almost 10 years. In 2008 I had chosen it to celebrate my 40th birthday. Dear friends were visiting me from Brighton so I went in person to ensure a good table on a busy December Saturday night. I was at first slightly dissapointed by the changes in the decor but after spending... More

This was my second visit to this restaurant, so naturally I'm in favour. Great selection on the menu and we ordered several "tapas style" dishes which were very good. Limited cocktail menu. Waiting staff extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Great desserts too.

Interesting combinations, we had the tasting menu and there were both highs and lows. The tuna tartar taco was the top and the chicken could have been spared. The tasting menu was too heavy, simply too much food. The service and the drinks were at a top.

Just the best ceviche and seafood we have ever had. Every disk OS kust beautifully presented. Swift and attentive service. Then Mexican doughnuts for dessert that is to die for. I'll come for the champagne or cocktail brunch for sure!

We were slightly late as we walked past this three times before we found it not noticing the signage outside sadly. However our table was ready and still available thank goodness! Although we have eaten many times in Havana there were still many ingredients on the menu which were new to us that our waitress happily explained without having to... More

What a wonderful, wonderful experience. I'd had a fantastic meal at Asia de Cuba in New York, when I lived there. I was delighted to see that there was one in London, as well. We happened upon a prix fixe offer and booked. Ah...it was everything I loved and more! I hadn't realised that it was in a hotel -... More

I think they went a bit overboard trying to be "unique". The food is good, but is it really worth the price tag attached to it?? Big question. VERY loud music. London has a lot of much better places to offer.

Food and service good but didn't wow me given the final bill. Agree with other reviewers that tables are so close together, you or those on the tables either side cannot have a private conversation. Nice to have experienced Asia de Cuba but didn't grab me enough to make me go out of my way to return.

I felt like I was a nuisance rather than a customer from the moment I walked into this restaurant. Was sent around the corner to deposit my coat, only to find a huge coat queue so walked away and kept my coat with me for the evening. Was then sat on a table, so close to another table it felt... Description
For global travellers with a cultured palate and a love of variety, Asia de Cuba is a destination restaurant with a must-taste fusion philosophy. The iconic St Martins Lane eatery has been newly renovated and now offers an updated menu and whimsical, enchanting interior design. Cuban-born executive concept chef Luis Pous enhances Jeffrey Chodorow's original culinary vision with experimental combinations and a new twist on old favourites. Inspired by the cultural synthesis of old Havana's Chinatown, Pous interprets Asian-influenced Cuban fare for a modern crowd and a discerning palate. The new Asia de Cuba retains the same authentic preparations, tropical accents, and sharing-style presentation loved by guests and food critics alike, now enhanced with a creative new menu and a chic new dining sanctuary. Fresh ingredients, handcrafted dishes, and eye-catching interiors make for an unforgettable dining experience with surprising cultural flavours. Bottomless Brunch runs from Friday to Sunday, with live music on a Saturday.
