Lovely atmosphere. Miftah attended our table. Very friendly and helpful, it was a quick service.
We had Steak & Lobster with a side of veg. The food was beautiful, the steak was cooked to a Medium rare taste( and perfect). For desert we had Keylime Cheesecake and the honeycomb jar which did not disappoint.
Overall, we had a fabulous meal in a relaxing setting.
The staff were attentive without too much attention .
We thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
Including a bottle of Malback and service tip, expect to pay around £195.

The food was fantastic, a lot of options to choose from! The waiters were friendly and very efficient, taking our empty plates away so they weren’t in our way and always filling our teas and coffees up. Such lovely people especially Jamal! Thank you!

Delicious breakfast with plenty of vegan options. Our waiter Custodio was very kind, efficient and attentive, and he made sure we were topped up with as much coffee and tea as we wanted. It was the best breakfast I have had in a hotel this year, and was served in a beautifully decorated restaurant

The steaks were quite good and the chips were fine, but none was particularly cheap. Personally i prefer the steaks that are available at FlatIron for half the price. There was an appealing choice of sauces to go with the steaks. The salad - which was a quarter-chunk of lettuce - was not personally my preference; i would have preferred normal salad. The decor is smart with high ceilings, but it is a slightly windowless environment and feels very much like a hotel restaurant, without a huge amount of atmosphere. It was also hugely overheated and stuffy, despite being December, so all of us struggled to keep cool. We had to go to the toilet area repeatedly to cool off. Service was pretty average; we tried for 5 minutes to get attention to order another bottle of wine but eventually had to go to the bar and order it directly. There weren't that many tables eating so the service staff should not have been overwhelmed.

Visited this place last night (Wednesday 10th) as part of a 9 person group. We had pre-ordered in advance.
The restaurant is very bright, airy but lacked atmosphere, whereas the bar area felt more comfortable and welcoming .
Our group sat down and waited for a drink....and waited and waited, before finally being offered one after about 20 minutes of being sat there. This wait turned out to be insignificant compared to the length of time our starters took to arrive, which was over an hour!
I had the Beef Tacos, which were essentially onion, creamy sauce and maybe a little bit of chewy beef on a small cracker which in no way resembled a taco in any way. I gave up on the second one as it was totally underwhelming and borderline inedible.
So onto the main courses, now our group had only ordered Steak or Lobster, two items which I'm fairly confident do not take more than 10 minutes to cook. Given it was a quiet Wednesday evening it was hoped these dishes would be served soon (did I mention that we had PRE ORDERED?!). After another lengthy wait some food started to appear, which appeared to cause confusion with the staff and what ensued was a chaotic game of trying to figure out who's steak was who's. The complex conundrum of who had ordered lettuce leaves or chips dusted in paprika with their steak only added to the chaos with staff unable to combine the correctly cooked steak with the correct side dish.
By this time plates were being swapped by the waiter, steaks being sent back that were ordered as medium but came out with blood covering the plate. But eventually with the assistance of two additional staff the chaos subsided and everyone tucked into their food.
Those with lobster seemed content largely with their dish, however those with steak were a mixed bag. Mine was ordered medium, came out as that but the quality of the meat was poor. It was chewy in places, very thin and you would easily find better in Asda. The chips, well they were thin fries with some paprika dusted on top..so they were fine, but nothing special.
Thankfully I didn't have a dessert, so can't comment on those.
So in conclusion a totally underwhelming experience, poor quality food, over priced and the chaotic service was like a comedy sketch...if Basil Fawlty had appeared at some point it would not have come as a surprise.
Needless to say I would never go back here and part with any money.

A disappointing, overpriced meal.
We looked forward to a beautiful "Steak & Lobster" meal in restaurant of the same name
The staff were lovely
The decor pleasant but the food was immensely disappointing
The steak was tough, the lobster portion small.
When we complained the manager did offer free coffee and a dessert and gave us a 10% discount, but the meal was underwhelming

The evening got off to a weird start. We are staying at the hotel so asked reception if there was any availability for the restaurant.. she was lovely and took us through to quite a rude gentleman who said they were fully booked, he didn't speak to us, didn't check the bookings just said no to her. We came back up to the room and checked online, lots of availability through OpenTable so booked on there for 10 minutes later. We go back down to the restaurant and another couple are saying they have a reservation and he is saying they are fully booked, they said they booked online, he said they would have to wait at least an hour. We get seated, and there are 4 other tables in use with 1 being a group of about 12. Our server was a lovely man. Ordered a glass of merlot and an old fashioned, steak and lobster and a sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce. Food came out quite quickly but no drinks yet. Took a few minutes to grab someones attention. It wasn't busy and there were lots of wait staff seemingly just standing. Got our drinks after asking again. So to the food. The steak didn't seem great quality if I'm honest, chewy and thin, the lobster was fine. My partner said his sirloin was fine but not the best but the peppercorn sauce and onion rungs were good. Dessert, the cheesecake was really good and the cheese platter was nice, we had to ask for a knife and they brought out a dessert spoon. Overall, this was average and I've had better steaks at the local pub for half the price. Oh and the other couple were seated around 5 minutes after us. There were still empty tables when we left although it was busier. The front of house guy looked in a bad mood all night

On arrival we were greeted very warmly and placed in our seats.
We had a waiter called Custoord, he was AMAZING!! He gave 10/10 customer service.

With a chalkboard advertising a football match outside the door our stomachs turned over!
This space is so gargantuan it's quite puzzling what on earth this restaurant is doing there. So, to access the restaurant itself you ned to make your way through a sports bar which is not ideal.
The restaurant has more floorspace than a colossal Pizza Express yet is utilised so poorly.
We were taken to our table which was well out of view from the Sports bar which turned out to a complete waste of space as it was dead all evening.
Our server who was very polite arrived and we attempted to order drinks. As a non consumer of alcohol I asked for a non alcoholic beer - Not offered! In fact there wasn't a single item on the menu other than Coke, Diet Coke and Water for people who don't/no ,anger drinks alcohol. This is unacceptable in 2022 and certainly for a restaurant that advertises itself as somewhat upmarket. Do they realise the money to made from recovering alcoholics who might have the money to splurge on Seedlip drinks for example.
The very idea of popping to Tesco or the shop across to road to purchase a couple of zero alcohol beers was not welcomed. 'We cannot take the risk to our standards'. Ok, I said and ordered a Diet Coke which was the smallest bottle of said drink I've ever seen.
We ordered our food and the starters were great. Surf and Turf croquettes.
Our mains came out bang on time but to my dismay there was just 3 minuscule pieces of lobster on my surf and turk roll. My friend's exact roll had a generous helping so I kindly asked it was sent back and replenished. The server warned me that the chef might suggest we buy a lobster. I suggested he went and showed him the roll he'd signed off and sent to my table. Low and behold it came back looking like a surf and turf roll.

I am delighted to read that the Surf and Turf croquets impressed your pallet positively and that polite server tried to assist your needs. On another hand, it is disappointing to know that Surf and Turf roll was not served as per set standard and that our inability to offer non-alcoholic beer let you down on this occasion. Currently, we are offering variety of bottled soft drinks and juices, hot beverages and non-alcoholic cocktails. Moreover, Steak and Lobster list of non-alcoholic drinks was carefully created to support our restaurant concept, which is why I completely agree that we should be more sensitive about wider range alternatives for beverages without alcohol.
Please, accept my sincere apology for your experience, and we would highly appreciate second opportunity to prove the changes for yourself in future.

An enjoyable evening sadly sullied by apparent initial inability to cater for one of our party with a shellfish allergy. Apparently you shouldn’t go to a restaurant serving shellfish if you have a shellfish allergy!
The menu clearly states to mention allergies on ordering, which we did. After we had all ordered we were told that the chef could not guarantee that there would not be any cross contamination.
3 members of our party work in hospitality so had to explain to the waitress how to avoid cross contamination in a kitchen! Eventually another member of staff (I assume the manager) intervened and spoke to the chef, where the issue was resolved and a free drink was offered. Although the issue was eventually resolved, it made for an uncomfortable experience and a nervousness for the party member involved.
Having said that the food was delicious and well cooked.
I must comment that it is concerning that a commercial kitchen cannot guarantee no cross contamination especially in the current climate of an increase in food allergies.

Very good experience. From the warm ambiance to the delectable cuisine, every aspect of this restaurant met my expectations.
I can confidently say that the freshness of the lobster was unparalleled (which is not common in London) and the steak was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful char on the outside and a tender, juicy center.
In addition to the great cuisine, the service was impressive. Our waitress, Miftah, deserves special recognition for her exceptional hospitality. Not only was she attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, but her genuine warmth and friendliness added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. She went above and beyond to ensure that everything was to our liking, and her prompt service was truly a testament to her dedication to providing an outstanding dining experience.

Had breakfast here with a friend and was hoping for a nice buffet breakfast. Firstly was so surprised and disappointed that they offer no meat alternative? If you’re a pork lover then great, if not it’s potatoes and baked beans 👍. How can a place like this not offer at least one vegetarian option? It’s not a greasy spoon and for nearly £25 pp for breakfast I felt robbed! But it wasn’t just this, we paid for a breakfast buffet but constantly had waiters come to our table asking us if we had finished and taking plates/side plates with food still on it away 😣. Felt so annoyed by the end of it that we couldn’t even be bothered to finish our coffee. Oh, and they advertise freshly squeezed orange juice and the guy behind the bar was topping up the jugs with supermarket bought juice (couldn’t help but not notice).
Definitely would not be returning, this hotel have a huge contract for patients with the hospital opposite and so allow standards to be slipped because most are having a free breakfast!

I am extremely disappointed to hear that our breakfast offering didn't met your expectations. Generally, breakfast is very well perceived by majority of our customers here at Grafton hotel - guests compliments great variety on the buffet including vegetarian options such as hash browns, roasted cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, sliced cheeses, 4 type of cereals and different type of milk, fresh cut fruits, yogurts, pastries, breads and condiments, variety of juices and water. We also accommodate special requests, allergies and diets once guests communicate those with us. This why your comments make me believe that something went unexpectedly wrong and I do sincerely apologise for that.
I can assure you it is not our usual standard which definitely will be addressed to the teams that we all could work closely to diminish any instances as such. In meantime, if your decision is final not to return we will have to respect that.

We stayed at the hotel where the restaurant is attached. Dining on New Years Eve, we did experience a few minor issues but made these comments aware to the duty manager Barbara at the front desk. Barbara reassured us that these matters were isolated and would pass our feedback onto the team for future improvements. Trusting Barbara at her word, we dined at the restaurant on two more occasions and were not disappointed.
Barbara's customer service proves that it's always better to speak up and resolve a matter directly to ensure a positive outcome for all instead of taking to a keyboard with a negative review and a bitter taste in your mouth.

First time at steak and lobster and sadly last time. We eat a lot of steak and I was down from west mids looking forward to solo meal without kids. Unfortunately the ribeye was so chewy most of it was inedible …
This was relayed to staff on 4 occasions, of which was met with a smile or being told it’s “medium rare”. I felt quite insulted and invalidated by this given I have enjoyed many a medium rare ribeyes in various steak places ALOT
And often on our komado jo BBQ at home far better! I queried the ‘discretionary’ tip added to my bill given i Ieft 1/2 the steak as was told it was the staff tip. I do understand this but to have no acknowledgement that the food was sadly unsatisfactory and still I paid full
Price and tip was I feel poor service. Sadly would not go back …. Maybe this is why the place was empty ?

I am disappointed to hear about your misleading experience at Steak & Lobster Warren Street and the way the complaint was dealt with and I would like sincerely apologise for letting you down on this occasion. I can assure you it is not our usual standard which definitely will be addressed to the teams that we all could work closely to diminish any instances as such.
