We have used Haweli in Barnes for many years on a weekly basis mostly home delivery but have ate in we have never had a bad meal the food is absolutely delicious and the staff are very nice I don’t even have to give my...name or address as soon as they hear my voice they know it’s me that says something lol but we highly recommended Haweli for the best curry in townMore

After using the BRILLIANT Haweli in St Margarets on an almost weekly basis for many years, we moved to Barnes and decided to try Haweli on White Hart lane here but both times we've had take aways from there, we've been really disappointed. The food...isn't bad, it's just very average – infact, it's below average. Last night we had curry, rice and naan – both curries were just very flat and nothingy: no life, no depth of flavour, no colour. The curries from St Margarets Haweli were vibrant with fresh herbs – really zingy and full of flavour. The curries I've had from this one are dull and instantly forgettable. And at 9 quid for just a curry, this is actually really poor value. We asked for one plain naan and one peshwari – we got home and realised we had two plain naans, one of was dry and leathery so we threw it away. It's such a shame – if this was as good as the St M's one, we'd be in there every week. Time for a new chef.More
The food was terrible. Totally bland, watery masala sauce, tough and dry chicken. The onion bhaji was hard and dry too, almost impossible to eat.
We visited Haweli for a family meal. The service was great and the staff very friendly and accommodating. When our food arrived it was hot and delicious. Great menu Great value for money way and will definitely be returning
A very friendly, unpretentious restaurant and take-away. The food is great, by far the best in the area, and it is a very enjoyable experience to eat there. I always come away feeling satisfied!
A born and bred Yorkshireman I was raised on the wonderful curries of Bradford. This place is a real find. The food is fabulous, the portions plentiful and the prices reasonable. The staff are efficient and friendly, what more could you want?
This restaurant needs a make over or at least painting. The owner serves you but he can be very miserable and short as if he doesn't want to be there. The food is ok but nothing special. It is shame because the restaurant sits in...a prominent position and could be great. We live close and have never seen the restaurant very busy. They don't seem to like to serve after 10pmMore
I have been many times in this restaurant, also had delivery, and I have had always nice food and good manners. I am vegetarian, so I have tried just veg options but for what I know...I reccomend it!
Having given up on Holy Cow and uncertain about Anapura, we ordered a delivery from Haweli Barnes which took almost an hour to make the one mile journey from restaurant to home. Starters and pops ranged from ok to quite good but the mains were...horrible: tasteless relics from the 1970s stinking of curry powder and swimming in excess oil. Rogan josh was inedible as was a sag paneer: both went straight into recycling. First and last time. Wasn't cheap either: don't waste your money here.More
