Food was ok but the service was awful. Staff forgot to give us cutlery, even forgot to serve our food! The place was busy but my husband and I felt neglected. We paid the bill but didn't leave a tip.

This restaurant is close to us and we sometimes go there if no time to cook. Had a very good chicken tandoori and hot veg. Service not great, however.

This restaurant needs a make over or at least painting. The owner serves you but he can be very miserable and short as if he doesn't want to be there. The food is ok but nothing special. It is shame because the restaurant sits in a prominent position and could be great. We live close and have never seen the restaurant very busy. They don't seem to like to serve after 10pm

The order of food was tasteless . No flavour to prawn curry - no chilli in king madras - use of frozen chicken strips for the chicken curry plus it all room temperature upon delivery We ordered a delivery, I had the king prawn madras, absolutely disgusting no heat, no taste was like the chef had put a tin of tomatoes and oil with some chopped up pepper and onion, , my sons chicken curry no real flavour full of oil and the chicken was very low grade, onion bhaaji stodgy like you get from Tesco, I can’t believe they’re churning out inedible food. My wife had the prawn Korma and couldn’t really comment on her dish as she lost her taste through covid lucky her Will never get anything from here again, I’ve lived in Barnes all my life and won’t be recommending any of my family or friends to eat there. We’ve only just returned after years of going elsewhere and thought we’d try Haweli again We require a full refund £46 and the same dishes re sent to us

Had a takeaway last night. One of the worst Indian meals ever! Chicken tikka just tasted of paprika, absolutely not tikka at all. Curries were flavourless with really watery sauce, onion bhaji dripping in oil, The whole meal (over £85!) Really poor quality

After using the BRILLIANT Haweli in St Margarets on an almost weekly basis for many years, we moved to Barnes and decided to try Haweli on White Hart lane here but both times we've had take aways from there, we've been really disappointed. The food isn't bad, it's just very average – infact, it's below average. Last night we had curry, rice and naan – both curries were just very flat and nothingy: no life, no depth of flavour, no colour. The curries from St Margarets Haweli were vibrant with fresh herbs – really zingy and full of flavour. The curries I've had from this one are dull and instantly forgettable. And at 9 quid for just a curry, this is actually really poor value. We asked for one plain naan and one peshwari – we got home and realised we had two plain naans, one of was dry and leathery so we threw it away. It's such a shame – if this was as good as the St M's one, we'd be in there every week. Time for a new chef.

The food was terrible. Totally bland, watery masala sauce, tough and dry chicken. The onion bhaji was hard and dry too, almost impossible to eat.

A very friendly, unpretentious restaurant and take-away. The food is great, by far the best in the area, and it is a very enjoyable experience to eat there. I always come away feeling satisfied!

A born and bred Yorkshireman I was raised on the wonderful curries of Bradford. This place is a real find. The food is fabulous, the portions plentiful and the prices reasonable. The staff are efficient and friendly, what more could you want?

Always smells so nice and the staff are friendly, but the meat has been dry and chewy on all three of my visits. I may have been unlucky but with many other places near by I’ll be trying else where before going back.
