You would be a fool to NOT come here! Best Indian restaurant in East London. Looks quite unassuming from the outside, but the quality of food and service was second to none! Everything we had was delicious especially the butter chicken and masala AND the...hand made paratha and naan were incredible . Very friendly and attentive service - would highly recommend.More

While there are several Indian restaurants in Canary Wharf and the surrounding areas, Manjal is amongst the few where the food is genuinely good. As vegetarians, the menu provides a good selection of options that don't feel like an afterthought as is the case with...many other places. I would highly recommend the chilli paneer, mushroom manchurian, garlic naan and the onion rava dhosa (available plain or with a potato masala filling). The food is always flavoursome and portion sizes are reasonable. The restaurant also has a lovely, peaceful setting, overlooking the water and the service is always of a very good standard. We have been coming here for years and will probably continue to do so for many years to come!More

Good Vegetarian Lunch for six on Saturday at 14.15hrs. Good service. Very Polite Staff Good choice unfortunately South Indian specialties like Dosa, Iddly and Thali Meals were not available. I hope they would introduce the South Indian Specialties at weekends. Very good food would recommend...a visitMore

Having visited Manjal before when they were in their old location in the round building near the docks it was nice to rediscover them in their new location, having survived the pandemic and still going strong. Although we hadn’t made any reservation the front of...house made space for us and made sure we felt welcome and attended to. For our party of three we had three starters and mains as well as a surfeit of naans to go with the curries and even received a complimentary portion of onion bhajis; excellent accompaniment and great to complement the rest! The Chicken Jalfrezi and railway lamb curry are still as good as before and rich with flavour. Thanks for yet another delightful evening!More

Just visited Manjal Restaurant with family and I could not resist writing this review even before moving out of restaurant. One of the best restaurant with authentic Indian cuisine from north to south. I am thinking how did I miss this hidden London jewel. If...you are around or visiting London don't miss the opportunity to visit Manjal Restaurant.More

This has always been our favourite takeaway Indian food place, but this time we decided to visit. The restaurant has moved to a new location - so was difficult to find, but the food and the views more than made up for it. The place...was clean, tables were socially distanced and staff were all in masks. We had chicken varuval for starters which was delicious and spicy! The mains had to be chicken chettinad - that's my favourite dish on their menu - paired with hot appams - this was so fulfilling! We also tried their ghee masala dosa which was good. Can't wait to visit again!More

Visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Canary Wharf. The first night was a special occasion to celebrate our anniversary (which the staff noted and brought us a complimentary cake to celebrate). The food was amazing and staff were very attentive. We ordered the...Chicken Lollipop and Garlic King Prawns for starters. We had the Prawn Tikka Masala and Chicken Chettinad for our mains. All of which were absolutely delicious and full of flavour. Will definitely be returning back to this restaurant in the future.More

First time to the new location at Drewery House after many visits to the previous location and was happy to confirm that nothing has changed except the building! Food was great and the service was warm and attentive. I had my usual Tandoori Mixed Grill...and it was prepared expertly and had the same wonderful flavor I am used to (although it is a lot of food). My wife's Butter Chicken was lovely as well. For my money this is the best Indian food and dining experience on the Island/Canary Wharf - I highly recommend it!More
