Just had a beer here because we were passing and wanted to see the end of the men's boat race(on the Thames) and they had the television on. Obviously busy because of the location, near Covent Garden, the place was packed. We started off standing up, then managed to get seats because some people left. The beer was fine and the... More

Hard to find a reasonable pub in this part of town that that's not over touristed or reasonable. The Round House hits the bill. And London Pride on, so all good for a pint or two.

I popped in here by myself (unusual for me!) but I felt quite relaxed as the atmosphere was nice and the staff were really chatty and friendly. Food looked really lush and I will be back in the future to try some. I got a table outside and sat watching the world pas by in the spring sunshine.

If you're used to English pub food you're not going to be surprised by the Round House. Traditional pub fare of average quality. I really don't like the wooden platters they serve the food on as well - I'm always afraid they haven't been cleaned properly. As to the music - well, what with the high ceilings it made it... More

This pub is very visible in Covent Garden, and enticing, with it's large windows facing the busy street life. Unlike other pubs that are tucked-away in laneways and side streets, this one is out in the open, and doesn't provide the intensity of smaller warm and friendly pubs, which dot the city. It's definitely more fun being in a crowded... More

From J Boy of Derby A good Fullers pub in the area between Leicester Square and Covent Garden. Great choice of beers well kept and I have found the staff friendly and efficient. The pub heaves Friday and Saturday nights but the service is good. Prices ok for this part of town, tables and chairs outside if you want to... More

Called in mid afternoon. The bar was extremely busy, but the staff worked very efficiently to get everyone served promptly. Good choice of beers and a good atmosphere, but be prepared to pay Covent Garden prices!
