My partner and I decided to visit this quaint little local pub for a beer and a bite to eat after all of the great reviews from travellers and locals alike. We were not disappointed! We ordered the fish and chips and the steak pie. Wow, the fish was great and the pie was incredible! The homemade gravy and mash... More

I took my visiting family to the Cross Keys for the Sunday roast and having ordered in advance was very pleased that the food was brought to us very swiftly and was delicious. It was exactly what you hope for when going to a pub for a roast, complete with all the trimmings, including cauliflower cheese which is a personal... More

Was met with a warm welcome by the staff, looked after us brilliantly, don't get into London much so it was great that we were made to feel this way as a stranger. Gin and tonics were to die for. Next time in London this is were ill be. Thanks guys.

Attended a family 90th Birthday party here, lovely Sunday lunch and great private area "The Barn". Staff were friendly and professional, catering for 20+ was good.

Found the Cross Keys on your app and walked the short distance from my hotel. The pub had a nice traditional feel and after walking through the bar area easily found a table in the dining area. The staff we're really friendly and helpful and the hearty British food was nicely cooked and presented. My pint of London Pride wasn't... More

Hiya Thank you so much for the review. I'm glad you liked the ambience and food however I'm saddened to hear your Pride wasn't up to standard on your visit. As a Fullers master cellarman I pride myself on my....Pride and I apologise that yours was anything but perfect. I'm not certain if you told the staff on duty but... More

We followed trip advisors advice and as we're staying around the corner and had a couple of hours to kill went in search of a cosy pub for a couple of pints. Wow wow wow ! What a gorgeous place ! So warm and inviting and the ambience was incredible. There were lit candles on the tables and an open... More

Hi Lisa Thank you so much for the great review and I'm so sorry I didn't finish making the Scotch eggs in time. They are very popular and keeping up with demand is almost a full time job! Next time you're down this way call and I'll make sure I have a fresh one for you to try. I'm really... More

Walking into this place I felt a little awkward and not right. A couple of customers seemed a bit ladish and overbearing, however, the bar staff were in full control of them and I felt more comfortable for this. The staff were instantly welcoming and endearing, striking conversation and making us feel at 'home'. Beer was great, pub was clean... More

Myself and a friend ventured in for a beer on a Saturday evening after a curry. Really enjoyed the traditional friendly pub culture here! There were darts being played, people reading books and the paper and lots of people conversing with strangers over a beer or two. Really enjoyable pint! Will go back again.
