Food - Good but not worth the price. Also, while it tasted great, it must’ve been quite salty as I don’t think I’ve had to drink so much water with a meal before. Drinks - I just had water but friends who ordered cocktails said...they were good. They looked good, too. Only thing is it seemed the staff just give you the bottled water by default. At £4.50 a bottle, the option for tap water should be asked first. Staff/Customer Service - Security were actually more welcoming & smiley than the front of house staff. Front of house staff need to realise they’re the face of the place and be more welcoming. Our waiter was a guy, not sure of his name, but he forgot two of our dishes and for the three times we asked across 2 hours where they were he got increasingly rude and ultimately was blaming us for the rest of the party being late so our plates being late. First, don’t blame the customer, especially the ones that ordered earlier and weren’t late. Second, the dishes never came & he never even bothered to check with the kitchen. The mandatory service charge shouldn’t have applied for him, or at least be reduced, as he was not very attentive and rather rude to my partner. A waitress who dealt with the bill, thankfully, listened to us, took the two plates that never arrived off of our bill & lifted the minimum spend as obviously we had tried to order that but the two hour delay and no-show of the food meant it was impossible to meet the minimum. Atmosphere - Pretty good but a bit more light and lowering the music would be nice.More

It was terrible from arrival to end. Receptionist said we would be charged £25 for 1 missing person even if spend is over £400, which it was. The place was empty but we were given table by the toilets under a speaker and we could...not hear each other and when we asked for a different table we were told they were fully booked, when we insisted on moving given a table in the corner. Majority of table stayed empty through out the night. Our drinks order was taken after 15 minutes as staff never came near our corner, then drinks arrived half an hour later and I had to ask 3 members of staff for a straw which finally arrived 15 minutes later. It got worse, our starters finally arrived, the spring rolls were the worst I have ever had. They were the smallest frozen spring rolls with no filling and cold. The main course, egg fried rice cold, no green arrived with cod and had to ask 4 members of staff for the greens, which finally arrived when the main meal was finished and we had called the manager to complain and he said you can have the greens for free. We said we had finished our main meals and did not want the greens and mentioned all other issues and he did not seem to care. When we asked the manager about the £25 charge for 1 person not coming as our bill was over £400, he said the £25 charge was addition to table bill. We then asked why the table next to us only paid £51 for 3 drinks and they were not charged £400 ? The manager said they were walk in, so I asked so you are saying that if you book you have to pay minimum of £400 but if you walk in there is no charge. Manager could not answer. IT DOES NOT DESERVE EVEN A ONE STAR. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!More

We live Buddha bar music and thought we should give this a go. Chose an evening when live music was on. Turned up to find we were seated on ground floor and not lower level where the live music was (website does not make this...clear). When we questioned this, particularly in view of prices (cheapest bottle of wine is £65!). We were told that downstairs was fully booked and one has to ring personally to get a table downstairs where minimum spends of at least £65 apply (not difficult as everything is overpriced). When we went to the toilets which were downstairs we took a peak to see the live music area - it was empty! Not sure why we therefore could not sit there - the receptionist said it had been busy earlier on! Our table was at 8pm and miscues starts around 9pm so quite why anyone would want to eat downstairs before live music starts is beyond me. I noticed reviews mainly seem to be one star or five stars which seems very suspicious. The place is pretentious - food and service was average and massively overpriced/ BEWAREMore

The food was room temperature, it tasted more like leftovers than fine dining. All 6 of our meals were nearly cold, only 1 starter was a decent temperature. The only thing nice was the drinks. I would not recommend.

Food was amazing, could not fault. The service was also good however when it came to paying our bill our night was spoilt but how rudely we were dealt with. This evening was booked several weeks in advance for a 30th birthday celebration. We were...informed it was a £65 min spend with a £25 deposit. Everyone paid the £25 deposit prior to the evening however when it came to the bill at the end of the night we were told the deposit did not count towards the minimum spend. Making the minimum spend £65 plus a £25 deposit. This was never explained to us prior to the visit and when we queried it we had three different employees argue with us very aggressively over the remaining bill. Our bill was already over the minimum £65 minimum spend but we weren't.preoared to pay an extra £25 per head for food and drink we didn't have. We were a large table so our bill was over £400, it was supposed to be an enjoyable birthday celebration but this place only cares about ripping people off.More

Extremely disappointed from Customer service I had high expectations from this place, although the interior and food were good, it was completely spoilt for us by the poor customer service we received throughout our dinner. Not to mention it was our wedding anniversary! The waiter...forgot to put our drinks and mains order through, after waiting for over 25mins, they bought us our drinks. Another waiting game and part of our didn’t arrive until we were too full. Very unnatentive staff, were only interested in providing service to the big tables. Had to wait another 20 minutes for our bill. Overall a great disappointment and won’t be returning for sure! There are plenty of better places in London where you receive good food alongside excellent customer service!More

I have been to most (nicer) restaurants in London. Worst one I’ve ever been to both in terms of food quality but also interior and vibe. Atmosphere, decor, and food quality is what you essentially want at a higher end restaurant. The service was ok...so I can’t really comment on that but of course I have read a lot of reviewers have had issues with rude staff. It was my birthday dinner with family and so I asked for the minimum spend to be relaxed for my mum as she has cancer so cannot eat or drink too much that equates to £50 - I was told no immediately. The lack of empathy and compassion was embarrassing. I had to repeat the fact that I was asking as she had CANCER! Eventually they agreed but then said our time slot would be reduced by 30 mins … were they planning on seating another family for 30 mins before the next booking? Anyway: go to Mayfair - Sexy Fish, Novikov, Nobu, Amazonico, Mnky Hse, Coya etc etc if you want good service, good food, vibes and decor!More

So disappointed. It started off bad and didn’t get better. We were seated in a very dark corner with a small table close to another couple, it took the waiter more than 10 minutes to come to us with menus and get our drinks order....We ordered mocktails, mine just tasted like strong lime sparkling water and my husbands tasted like cheap syrup. The food was ridiculously overpriced and did not taste good. I don’t mind spending a lot when I know the food quality is high and tasty but this was not the case. A service charge of 13. 5% is just cheeky you get better table service at Nando’s. I would not recommend going here at all, you’re better off not eating.More

Possibly the rudest staff ever! I booked online and when I went in they couldn't find the booking.....which is fine as mistakes happen. But the way we were spoke to was disgusting and then the manager came and couldn't be more patronising if he tried....Didn't get to the food as I'd rather eat in McDonald's than some pretentious rude restaurant! - you would think for a restaurant with £50pp minimum spend policy, they'd have polite people working....how wrong!More
