A very good time for two, the service is efficient and polite, the dishes are good, a little remark on the layout of the tables, you can find your back to the bar and in the passage, but this does not detract from the quality...of the food and the warm atmosphere.More

I have dined at Buddha-Bar 3 times in the past and the food is great however the reception and management staff are what ruined each experience. This final time was the last straw. Our reservation was for 9.45pm however we contacted Buddha Bar prior to...inform them we'd be there at 10pm which is within the 15 minute grace period. The restaurant confirmed this was okay. When we arrived the receptionist had already given our table away to someone else even though we made a reservation. That was the final time for dining due to covid restrictions and we were turned away on the final night before tier 3 was in place. A couple in front of us in the queue who arrived at the same time were allowed in however we weren't for some reason. If a reservation is made you'd expect to be able to be seated. However Buddha-Bar give tables away to anyone willing to dine there not considering guests who have made reservations. Hence the reason why on open table it says that I have dined there despite the fact that I was turned away - they handed the reservation to another party. We were taken downstairs initially and the receptionist saw that she had already seated another party at our reserved table which I find very confusing. She then offered to seat us at the bar only for her to inform us that last orders had ended despite the fact that she wasted our ordering time due to all the hassle about giving away our table. The manager Yanna wasn't very helpful either in resolving this issue and kept repeating the same phrase in a rude manner. After admitting that she'd given our table our reservation away all she had to offer was a back and forth argument and an 'I have to ask you to leave'. I was not happy with the experience I received and hope that a restaurant with an esteemed image would reconsider treating their guests unfairly in the future. Would not go back even if the dinner was free.More

Me and my friend decided to go to Buddha bar after seeing the nice decor on social media for our belated birthday meal. As we showed up we was greeted and followed the door host, who then turned around and said ‘oh your tables over...there’ it was very awkward and embarrassing and we was not correctly shown our table. Once seated, we was upset with how close the table were as I could touch the table sitting next to me. Not ideal during a pandemic. Lovely starters and our waiter was polite lovely man. Our mains came and we was not happy as it had no chicken in it. I asked to speak to the manager and he came over extremely rude saying there is chicken in it. He kept talking over me not letting me finish my sentence, and even walked away from me. So rude! Then half hour later my same meal came out. As he did not tell me he was sending another one and was so rude, I just wanted to pay and leave. I said I did not want it and am not paying for that certain meal. He walked off again. When the bill came it was not taken off. I asked for it to be taken off and then he came back taking off a cocktail. Which I was happy to pay for as I enjoyed the cocktail. I made it clear he either give me the correct bill or I will just walk out leaving. This was extremely embarrassing as both the tables next to us could over hear us arguing for the last 45 minutes and I had to frequently apologise to them even though the manager was being rude to me Never go there again, manager should be sacked!More

Buddha bar is the type of place you never expect to get full at. My girls and I ordered 4 different types of sushi, as well as starters and were full for the night. The zombie cocktail will have u lickeeeed! Definitely a pricey restaurant...that I would recommend for special occasions or a a cheeky date. All in all, we had fun!More

My daughter and her young man went here for her birthday. She was refused service due to her allergies. One of the staff members tried to support my daughter by suggesting that the chef could use different equipment but the manager was not happy with...that. My daughter and her young man, had to eat elsewhere.More

Visited at 5pm on a busy Sat after Xmas shopping to Harrods. Unfortunately we had chosen a day when Knightsbridge was overrun with loud, obnoxious 'youngsters' who had caused mayhem outside and inside Harrods. Several groups had prebooked the Buddha Bar which made for a...very uncomfortable dining experience due to groups shouting, swearing and leaving the restaurant without paying. Security did their best but it certainly wasn't a relaxed experience. The signature chicken salad is my absolute favourite together with the BBQ chicken. Just superb. We appreciated Christiaan Malan, Operations Mgr taking time to discuss our disappointment with the evening - he really was doing his best to deal with a difficult situation and we were grateful for the complimentary drink. We do hope our next visit isn't quite so eventful.More

To the Buddha Bar London team, After waiting for a decent email or a call from 2nd April 2020, I have decided to send this communication to you and post it as an opinion to make others aware of the situation. You have NOT returned...our reservation money back. Not offering a service, not dealing with your events and keeping the money, is called being a thief. We paid a reservation deposit of 50% to host our legal wedding ceremony lunch & drinks here on 28 March 2020. We were happy with the place and location and we were expecting it to be a nice day. We booked the events room downstairs. Due to covid and the London lockdown, nothing was possible to do and we asked for the money back. You offered a future time slot, but we explained we were going to move to Singapore and only had that day to get married in London. It had to be that day because this was not going to be our big wedding and we couldn’t wait until next year to do it. On the contract it cleary showed that the event day was the 28 March 2020 and as per law, you need to cancel a contract if you can’t provide the service. Therefore, if the restaurant is closed, you need to follow the contract and return the money to your clients. We are actually not living in London anymore, which means you wouldn’t have been able to offer the service at all. We did not book any flowers, food or decoration as my catch up with you also got cancelled when the pandemic started. Thanks to AMEX we could get our reservation money back and were able to organize or legal ceremony in the south of Spain. Your communication and way of treating your clients has been unacceptable.More

I have been wanting to give Buddha Bar a try forever so no time like a birthday. I have to say I wasn't blown away by the food. The venue was nice, service was good. A special thank you to Ifrah and Christian who were...really lovely. The spicy edamame was dynamite too hot for me. The spring rolls were yummy. For drinks we ordered Vasco which is a mocktail that was delicious. The main was 5 spice barbeque chicken it was quite nice but not amazing. This was most disappointing as it's a signiture dish. The complimentary desert was mochi which was interesting not to my taste at all. Overall I'd rather the experience 5/10 if it wasn't for the great service from out waitress and the attentive host Christian I wouldn't rush back.More
