Got a booking just a day before. 1st time in this restaurant. The starters were good but Harabhara Kabab could be little better. They were too soft but bhel puri and Paneer were good. We had veg dishes Palak Paneer, Daal Tarka and Punjabi chole (chickpeas). The food was good but chole were a bit spicy. Restaurant owner (chef) came to us and changed the dish with less spicy which was nice of him. The ambiance was good and service was good too. Garlic nans and Palak Paneer were my favourite. My Son loved all his non veg dishes (lamb chops, chicken and some kind of meat tikka. Sweet dishes were a bit limited but what we had (gajar halwa, Gulab jamun and ice cream went down like a treat. I am sure we will be visiting there again at some point.

So good. Recommendations to everyone!!! A family member had an onion allergy and staff was really helpful in recommending dishes which were suitable. Meals were amazing. Two hours later nice aromas of curry still lingering.

We visit The Hazara every time we come to London and are never disappointed. The service & food is always excellent. We come roughly once every 2 years and never see a difference in the level service or quality of food. It was brilliant to see the chef come out to speak with every table to make sure all expectations were met. After mentioning our visit was a part of a birthday and anniversary the chef/owner was quick to rustle up a surprise, on the house, desert. As a couple we would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting an Indian meal in the area!!! Top Restaurant!!!

I just went to this restaurant today with a group of friends for a birthday treat. The food was delicious, the Chef/Helper Imran suggested the Hazara Chicken special, the chicken was succulent and well seasoned. I also ordered Punjabi samosas and the garlic naan, they were all splendid, the naan complimented the chicken wonderfully-truly authentic Asian flavour. The whole experience was amplified by the wonderful staff, in particular Chef Imran, who was unbelievably helpful and generous, the mango lassis were wonderful! As were the introductory sauces and popadoms. My friends tried the fish, lamb and chicken tikka massala and spoke highly of them. Dessert was last and we received a kulfi ice cream to finish a delectable evening! My only regret is the Gulab Jamun finishing before I could get my hands on it! Wonderful food, wonderful ambience, friendly staff and amazing service, well worth the money and time spent. I can’t wait to visit again with family! A special shout out to Chef Imran Khan once again, thank you for a wonderful experience bhai!

I am quite an old person. This must be the BEST Indian meal I have EVER had. Firstly, unless the dish on the menu has a chilli icon, it really is edible.( unlike other establishments who say 'oh no, it's not hot/spicy' and then one's mouth is seared by the heat.) Delicate flavours and textures are offered by one who really loves their metier. We started with onion bhajjis - light and crispy served with 4 generous sauces. The bhel puri was delicious, and funnily enough, tho we finished every morsel, we were ready for the mahi-ab-e hayat; sea bass with a creamy tomato/coconut sauce.and spices. (Next time we visit, I'll ask what the spices are, and try and replicate it at home) Do order the Pashawari naan. It's sweet, and very special. Linen knapkins and a congenial atmosphere make this place a must for anyone who likes fine flavours. Lastly, altho we finished quite late, there was no indigestion or heartburn afterwards. I think that says it all.

A restaurant that should be missed if you want to savour authentic Indian food. The food is amazing and the service second to none. Bonyson and Javad were great with their advice and patient taking our orders especially with our 12 year old who was tasting Indian food for the first time.

We had a fantastic party menu at this restaurant and every single member of our party absolutely loved it. Chef Imran and his team were incredibly attentive and the food was delightful. They provided a really nice mix of curries and platters after a short consultation about our preferences. All expectations were exceeded.

After ordering delivery a couple of times to a great satisfaction, we confirmed the opinion we formed by eating at the restaurant. Of course, freshly cooked meals were even better. The quality is clearly very consistent and everything is prepared with great care and attention to detail. Broccoli starter is a dream. Excellent chicken tikka trio. And so on. Good service. Just go and try, you’ll be happy you did 😀

The food at the Hazara was exquisite and our host was dedicated to making this dinner a fine experience during our visit to London. The Indian ice cream was a pleasant surprise experience. We will certainly visit again the next time we’re in London.

We went to this restaurant on a strong recommendation, and I have to say the food surpassed our expectations! We ordered the methi fish, laal maas, black daal, and Goan prawn curry rice. All of the food was authentic with very rich and unique flavours. Imran and his staff were very hospitable and provided us with great service. We will surely be eating here more frequently.

As someone who has always loved Indian takeaways, I was absolutely taken aback by the food served here! I had heard amazing reviews and yet it still exceeded my expectations, couldn’t rate it highly enough. There was no dish (and we tried many) that I wouldn’t have again, and I will definitely be taking other people to this restaurant in the future. From the fresh and flavourful food to the service and atmosphere, it was 10/10 all round!

Since our last visit, this Indian in a peaceful part of London remans, peaceful. Decor unchanged, menu much the same. However only 2 (disorganised) staff so even with only 4 tables occupied, it was slow. That said once we had ordered, the food came quickly. The lamb Lal Maas speciality was excellent but lacked enough meat for £13.50. Dal Makhni was a dish we remembered, this time, much more sauce and less dal. Excellent butter nan and OK lemon rice. Indian wine was ...interesting,,, Several items we tried to order were "off" - spinach patties and the deserts which is always disappointing. Overall, the flavours were good and better than most Indian restaurants and you pay more for this.

Our trip to Hazara was poor and a huge disappointment. I would not go again nor would I recommend it to anyone. The staff member who served us (bald, middle aged man) was incredibly rude and unhelpful. It was clear he had a vendetta against being helpful from when we walked in. What was particularly egregious was his dismissal of my question about gluten free items on the menu. My girlfriend is gluten-intolerant, I asked him “what does the gluten symbol mean, does it indicate gluten is in those dishes or that they are gluten free?” to which he palmed me off, not answering. Consequently we ended up ordering exactly the wrong items and my girlfriend ate dishes which CONTAINED GLUTEN. He laughed contemptuously when I asked him if my curry could be hot, drink orders were met with further contempt, asking for which wines the restaurant served he impatiently and brusquely informed us that we should “look at the drinks menu”. Sadly this is a bitter human being who enjoys going about being rude and unhelpful to customers. I strongly recommend avoiding Hazara. This is London - there are a multitude of other Indian restaurants available which are far better.
