Just the place for a quality coffee and cake, or croissant, or hot snack come to think of it. And a rest. Very much in the style of an Viennese cafe (although it has to be said, cakes and coffee more British than Austrian). Helpful...More

I've been to The Counter at The Delaunay before but with my mum. On this occasion, I had some time to kill so thought i'd have a quick lunch. The restaurant wasn't overly busy but I had to ask where I should sit and was...More

I wouldn't say that I am a regular in this cafe but I visit every 1-2/month. If you come here for tea and their Black Forest cake alone, you will be happy. Lovely ambience, unhurried in a Central London location. An ideal cafe for quick...More

This is a lovely place to stop for either a snack or a coffee /cake. It is a coffee shop next door to the more formal Delaunay restaurant (which was very busy on a Sunday at 2pm). Nice dobos cake and strudel.

Beautiful cafe and decor, making great coffee, and plenty of continental temptations to accompany. Nice service and was relatively quiet and peaceful when we visited.

Went here twice. Impressed with the ambience and decor. First time was excellent, fast friendly attentive service and food - could not fault it. Second time was disappointing - very slow service, grumpy faced waiting staff, one dish overcooked, the other was good. Giving it...More

Dropped by here for Saturday morning breakfast before some serious touristing around London. Magnificent bacon and sausage roll and a good coffee, I would definitely recommend going here for your morning nibbles. Mid range in terms of price. You're on London, you're next to Drury...More

Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized
lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is
