We visited on Saturday with an hour and a quarter before heading across Picadilly to the theatre. On asking the chap at the desk if we could be done in time he promised us we would and he was very good to his word! Staff were lovely, dining room is just gorgeous and, for the price, you really feel you're... More

Visited here for lunch over a business meeting. The food was all cooked to high standard and the service was really nice and friendly. There were four if us in the party and three of us went for the Steak Haché, Sauce au Poivre et Frites which at £9.75 was fantastic value for money. I must say I had the... More

such nice atmosphere and you feel like youre back in the old days. Love it! We were two and had the best table in the middle on the left corner against one of the pillars because then you both sit in the comfy couch seats. So lovely and of course jazzy music comes around 9.30pm!

The Art Deco room & atmosphere is worth the visit. Book a central table for good view of the band in the evening if playing. The food is very average for the price and the service is slow and haphazard. So I advise order the simple dishes and plan ahead with your drinks, they may take a while.

Hidden round the corner from Piccadilly Circus, venture downstairs through the cafe to the restaurant, with genuine French menus & all of the hustle and bustle of a Parisienne restaurant.

had dinner with a group of 15 friends on a (pre booked) Friday night in early December. This was my 3rd visit for dinner and, as usual, it was an excellent meal. Great french food and wine in an impressive setting. Will be returning....

We arrived cold and hungry and had not much time before the show. From the outside you would not realise how big this beautiful brasserie is. The staff explained they were full but we could have a table for 8 but we would have to up from it in an hour. we grabbed it. quick efficient service as well as... More

We felt very special here. The staff were amazing and found us a seat. There are staff everywhere and all.of them were excellent. the following was delicious and although we ordered from the expensive end of the menu, I'm certain that the bargain basement 2 course menu would have been delicious and the service just as good. We will be... More

This was our third trip to Zedels and it delivered again! The decor is delightful, our French food superb and the service was very good. There was a band and singers providing great music! A real find for a great evening for friends families and/or couples! One down side! Our waiter had obviously been on a cigarette break and he... More

I have wanted to go here for a while and it didn't disappoint. So elegant and plush. It's smart, it's impressive. And you don't have to spend a fortune to enjoy this stylish ambience. For less than £10 you can enjoy a 2 course fixed price menu or the dish of the day. Food was tasty, service friendly and professional.... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
