Ambiance is lovely. Good service. Food was average not great and we were the first ones in the restaurant that evening. Serving size not that large. Tip is added automatically. Not sure I would return with so many restaurants in the Kensington area. 30 pounds...More

Food was good, service was awesome, they didn't mind when we needed to switch to a banquet because the sides of the chairs were digging into my sides, ouch! The restaurant was a bit warm, it wasn't a temperature where I wanted to stay too...More

We were staying at the attached hotel (Crowne Plaza), and decided to try it one night for dinner. Started out with service being slow to get our drink order even though only about four tables of guests. But once we got going, service was fine....More

Greasy. Limited selection. Overpriced. Inauthentic. This is not good Asian cuisine. I had pad thai that was absurdly sweet.

Food was unique and tasty while having charming service. The staff was more than willing to make slight adjustments to the menu. The menu was inventive and the cocktails and wine list creative.

It is mix oriental food which are a lot of fusion not authentic. Could be a great place for the meeting. Great location, atmosphere and decoration

We wandered by and decided to try it. What a find...we were made to feel very welcome and the food was superb. We sat in the garden afterwards with drinks and jasmine tea, we will definitely visit again

Too bad that Umami has so little atmosphere ... As the food is actually surprisingly good (nice Thai curry, chicken Satay, ...)!

Having too much fish & chips and steaks in London, this restaurant was as refreshing as a newly found oasis. The kind of Asian fusion food this restaurant offered was quite unique and special, though there is still room to improve in some aspects. Tried...More

Breakfast had all the standards - cereals, toast, some fruit and an array of hot items (sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, etc). The restaurant would get very busy (and the buffet crowded) in the mornings, with lots of families. Does not open until later on bank...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
