Lovely Italian Restaurant to have fun with live music and some Limoncello. Easy to enjoy because the atmosphere is very electric. Fantastic Food and service. Just go and have some very good time.

Great Italian restaurant with an amazing atmosphere. The pasta is the best I've had while in London. It's quite busy, best to book a table so that you don't miss out.

This was a busy restaurant for a Monday night, with the tables crammed close together in the basement just off Borough High Street. We had garlic mushrooms to start, dripping in a garlic juice mopped up with bread. The pasta main courses came with creamy sauces and a side of fried courgettes. The desserts were slightly disappointing by comparison but... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Giuseppe's - it was a great end to our week in London. The wait staff could not be nicer or more accommodating. The restaurant is down a few steps from the street, with a casual, homey atmosphere. The portions were huge, but prepared well and very tasty. We wanted an after dinner coffee that... More

Came here for just a nice mid-priced italian meal. Was very surprised how awesome the pasta dishes were. Would highly recommend. If you want some really authentic Italian that is reasonably priced and away from the chains come here. Would highly recommend.

A great place for a meal out with friends . It is quite loud and buzzy which creates a good atmosphere . The food is lovely and reasonably priced for London . We booked an early table at 7pm and was told at the time of booking that we would have to leave by 9pm. At no time were we... More

We have just been to Giuseppe's before the marathon tomorrow. Giuseppe is a big Marathon fan (and ran it 10 times) and was making all the marathon runners feel very welcome. The food was lovely and the atmosphere was really lively. Thanks for a lovely evening!

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
