Like going to Paris for lunch. Everything is good. The breads are not cheap but very high quality. Love the sesame seeded baguette.

Paul is essentially a French coffee shop and bakery, whose number of branches seems to have mushroomed over the past decade. In comparison with the High Holborn branch I frequent for an incomparable ham and cheese baguette and a pastry whenever I'm in the middle of a case in the Central Family Court opposite, but have to fight for one... I stopped here for a coffee and pastry and was not disappointed. In addition to a friendly staff, the coffee and pastries were awesome. The gentleman who helped us, was super friendly and helpful. I asked him for a recommendation and he came through big time! He recommended the almond croissant and chocolate-filled donut and both were amazing! This place... More

This is a great place to start your morning in London. The coffee was excellent and the pastries are sweet and delicious. Right next to work, you can't beat it for convenience.

This is a larger than average Paul on the inside, whilst outside there is a small area of on street seating and a larger garden square (no traffic) to the rear. There is a great range of patisserie and breads with good coffee. The staff are very welcoming and helpful but the toilets needed some tender loving are and tidying... More

Popped in here with a colleague for a spot of lunch, the staff and surroundings are spot on, realy pleasant, informative about the latest offerings and did not rush us even though it was busy. The food and coffee were great, the only reason not to give this place five stars was that the toilet was slightly worse than sad,... More

I'm so pleased to be able to review this Cafe Paul. It's one of the nicest Café 's I have visited for sometime. Our Sunday morning visit was very relaxing. So clean and smart & with the right amount of ambient music in the background. I found the staff to be very professional. The coffee and pastries were superb, with... More

Paul on Regent Street looks very smart and the pastries and savouries are a little different from the ordinary and delicious. However, on sitting down I noticed that the floor was dirty, as was my table which the 2 staff made no effort to clean (it wasn't busy). My coffee was luke warm - they took it back to be... More

Recently had breakfast here. Beautiful and delicious Pain au Raisin with fresh coffee. The pastry was as light as a feather and obviously freshly baked - on a Sunday morning. Would certainly eat here again.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
