The guy at the restaurant seemed more worried in selling than providing a good experience. In fact it was very rude with us. We asked for the menu and he started spitting words, then I've asked for hot food and by this time he was...More

Found by accident today. It was a good find! We split soup (bowl) and a sandwich. A good lunch. Don't let the owner's non smile greeting put you off, he is quite helpful. All locals were there while we were there.

At work and on patrol, feeling hungry. So popped in very busy but still got a table. Order food then it's brought to table. Reasonable prices for central London. Will definitely use again.

This restaurant is very close to Westminster Abbey and I stopped in with my husband for lunch. They have take away and eat in prices. There aren't many tables but plenty of seating if you're willing to sit next to strangers. The bread used for...More

Great Value for Money for any part of London let alone a café close to Downing Street and Parliament. Staff are very friendly. Could not fault the food. Couldn't fault the food or service.

Bypass the chain places and come to this little locally owned place for real local fare. All of the food was very good, quickly prepared, and good quality. Also very good prices, with most sandwiches running around 3.60.

This small, basically furnished cafe and sandwich bar is a stone’s throw from Westminster Abbey and it serves up a brilliant ‘Full English Breakfast’ from early in the morning until 11:30. We have breakfasted here for many years when in this part of London; it...More

Pretty good deli with a good variety of sandwiches. Small place with few tables. Best is the location near Westminster and Churchill.

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are

The cafe I was referring to if Pickles is shut is Wesleys cafe at Central methodist hall, Parliament square. Website says it is open 7 days a week. Hope this helps.
