Worst customer experience I’ve ever received. Refused a soft drink and crisps in the rudest manner. These things should be handled in a certain way and it’s clear the staff are untrained or incompetent.More

Hi Ellie Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your visit. I have investigated your complaint with the staff on duty. As we understand it a number of your group didn’t have ID to prove their age which we are legally required to ask for. We...More

We were pre-booked, but a party of 30 is a pain for what is still a big pub rather than a major restaurant. Views on the food varied; some liked it a lot, others thought it a bit disappointing. (I think those who'd been there...More

First time at the Garden Gate. The food was tasty and well presented. Great service particularly from Jake who was attentive throughout the evening. Would recommend The Garden Gate for good food at a reasonable price and great service

Perfect for a pint after a stroll through the heath! The beer garden was busy but large enough to find a space and good atmosphere. Didn't try the food but look alright.

Description
Welcome to The Garden Gate, the front door to the best alfresco fun in north London. Our beer garden is one of the city's finest, while inside is pretty inspiring, too. This 19th century pub has a long tradition of accommodating weary walkers and lovely locals from Hampstead Heath, and today we're doing it in style with fresh, home-cooked pub food, a stunning choice of speciality drinks and an ultra-relaxed atmosphere.
