Only stopped for coffee. Great taste. Decent table service. Expect to spend £3.30 for a latte, probably not unreasonable for London but still bit more expensive than other artisan shops.

Whenever work takes me to Clerkenwell this is my must stop at coffee place. Coffee is strong, flavourful and very smooth. Last visit I enjoyed a Nicaraguan blend. Take the breakfast with eggs, tomatoes, bacon and Mushrooms. It's fab

We visited workshop coffee about 11:30, we were 5 and we found a table without reservation. The coffee and the meal were great and the stuff very friendy and polite. I think the prices for London were cheap actually we paid per person for one meal and a coffee about 12euro.

Visited for a quick coffee but was tempted by the poached eggs on toast! Beautifully cooked eggs and amazing bread!

What's not to love? Great coffee, good selection of light and not so light eats before or after noon. Great decor as one would expect from a spot like this in this area.

My family and I had breakfast at Workshop Coffee. It's a place with a nice, friendly vibe, but the food is nothing to write home about. Especially irritating that the coffee cups were so small and that I had to ask for second (expensive) cup of coffee.

This appeared a rather trendy hipster place but our group of 'mature ladies' was made to feel very welcome when we stopped by for coffee prior to visiting the nearby Museum of the Order of St John. The pot of coffee to share was excellent value and quality and we liked the vibrant pot and querky containers for milk and... More

A nice place but very poor disinterested service. You have to wait ages for a menu and when they bring that they tell you that the kitchen is closed

Description
In April 2011 we opened our doors on Clerkenwell Road, intent on bringing to the neighbourhood the very best coffee possible. Sourcing, roasting and brewing great coffee lead to more, and since then, our Clerkenwell cafe has evolved into a thriving destination for coffee, food, beer and wine lovers alike.

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
