Wonderful from start to finish - booked dinner for 4 of us for my husband's birthday. We had a great table (one of the booths) and service was slick and attentive. The sommelier in particular was superb, recommending us an unknown Spanish chardonnay about which...More

This is a fabulous restaurant. Wonderful friendly service and top quality food. Visited on a Monday and enjoyed a pleasant two hour lunch - highlights included the onion veloute with quails legs & the wonderfully a light cheesecake. If you haven’t been you should visit!

Medlar remains a dependable go-to for seasonal produce expertly cooked & presented. The prix fixe menu is good value although there are supplements for items like grouse. Crab ravioli were delicious but a delicate starter of raw scallops was overwhelmed by the saltiness of soy,...More

We had been to Medlar once before and I decided to book it this time for a surprise birthday party with 12 friends in their private room upstairs. It is hard to summarise it all and do the restaurant justice but, sticking to the headlines,...More

Always looking for new places to try in London and whilst we had to travel an hour across London it was well worth it. An imaginative & well thought through menu and every course was fantastic. Great wine match too, a Grenache recommended by the...More

Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's
upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops,
eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at
its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely
unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this
showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price
tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down
pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal

I took my dogs there (terrier and spaniel). Rang first to make sure. I don't think they are keen on large dogs, but ok with small ones
