Best food in London

If you want delicious food served by a welcoming chef, this is the spot. For only £5, you’ll receive tasty homemade falafel and arrangement of salads. The chef will completely spoil you, with catchy music and great atmosphere too, you HAVE to visit. Will definitely be coming back very soon.

I had the best Falafel experience at Hibox, has a very Middle Eastern vibe to it, with nice music and very nice Cook who put extra Hummus and gave me a free Ice tea on the house. The Falafel wrap was very fresh and tastes great. I would definitely recommend trying this place

Best falafel in London!

I work just down the road and Hibox is my favourite place to come for lunch. Affordable and delicious food, and as a vegan it’s amazing to have vegan options that are so tasty and full of flavour. The staff are also lovely - highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Best falafel wrap in London

The falafel is excellent, you can't miss it. Pita breads freshly baked, nice veggies inside, right amount of spice if you like, delicious sauce... Super friendly owner too!

Love this place! The falafel wraps are one of the best I’ve had because they fry them fresh in front of you! So tasty & the service is also really good. Very friendly and efficient. Keep up the great work! :)

Very disappointed

Came here after a show for food to take home, was expecting little restaurant that did a bit of takeout, nearly walked past it, it is just a little kebab shop. Looking up at menu, saw wrap, kebabs, shawarma, was unsure so we picked 4 x chefs box(£60!!) 2 of each flavour but had to have all the same as 1 sold out. Had to wait a while, no issue there, got food, 4 complementary ice teas given to us. Went home with food, really disappointed, for a start no bread!! Each tray was half hummus and something like hummus, a quarter salad and a bit of chicken. No bread!! How are suppose to eat the gallon of hummus? The food tasted ok, nothing special, how this place is rated so high on TA is beyond me. We were really looking forward to it but felt very let down.

Tariq is an amazing worker and makes us customers always happy. He’s works like a machine ,He sings and works very fast, he gives us the food in less than 1 minutes. I will recommend this place to all my friends and family, and I will for sure come back.

Tasty food. Affordable price. Staff may be a bit less noisy please

I had eaten chicken shawarma here. I can say that the chicken shawarma is tasty. The pricing is pretty affordable that you can get a meal deal for 8.5 GBP that includes shawarma wrap, chips and a drink. The staff there is friendly but I would share my constructive criticism for their noisy music habit. They play it very loudly and they sign also that it feels very noisy. Also, their jokes and friendly attitude might be feeling a bit too much despite their intention is good. I think they want to show that they like what they do and I admire it but I would recommend a normal-volume music with steady play instead of turning down and up. Also, putting some social distance between them and customers protect them from any misunderstandings. All in all, food is great and staff attitude might be improved.

Amazing food - that is quite healthy and naturally vegan! what more could you want?

I have been going here more or less since it opened. It's tiny, but with tables out front should you need to sit in. The staff are a little eccentric but are legends and really make everyone feel welcome and at home. The food is what it's all about though. I'd suggest a salad bowl, with freshly cooked felafel added on top. It has so much flavour it's incredible and if you like a big meal - go large and you will not be disappointed. All for below £6.50

The best shawarma place in London

This is hands-down the best shawarma place in London. I’ve had the shawarma wrap and the falafel one, and both are light and fresh with the perfect amount of filling. The box portions are large and delicious too! All of this top-quality food is at a really good price (which is important for a student like me), and the service is very quick. Special mention goes to Tarik, whose charismatic personality just elevates the whole Hibox experience and creates a unique atmosphere. I can assure you, once you come here, you’ll be back time and time again!

Can't wait to be back at this exceptional restaurant

Absolutely brilliant restaurant. Shame I can’t give more than 5 stars. My husband and I don’t live in London but came up to attend a show at BBC nearby and I looked up vegan food, as we are vegan for our health and the planet. I saw the great reviews- and they are well deserved. I emailed to explain that we would have a limited time, as had to validate our tickets at 5.45pm and then be back to be in audience by 7.15pm. Not a problem. We arrived and were given a wonderful vegan assortment of food for very little for London prices- under £10 each and it was a big plate of food, very fast. Service was delightful and exceptional. Our meal included delicious falafel, salad, rice and hummus. Lots of everything and so good. It was too much for me to eat. Service was wonderful. We ate downstairs in the basement of the café, and they are preparing for winter. We then finished with delicious baklava- also vegan and so tasty. I am of Jewish ancestry, and I am appalled at what Israeli government are doing to Palestine, so I was glad that I could support this business, while also having such a great meal. I can’t recommend enough and next time we are in London, we will be back. Thank you.

Believe the hype

Made a quick detour on a day trip to London to check this place out with my two vegetarian teenagers after reading the rave reviews. Hands down one of the best lunches I've ever had in London. Every morsel was perfection, service was speedy and friendly - even when I made a mistake and thought I'd been overcharged...not only were they kind about it, they gifted us some free falafel and baklava! I felt terrible for my mistake! We walked round the corner to sit in Whitfield Gardens next to Goodge St Station to eat with a great view and people watching. I wish these guys every success with this outstanding little eatery.

So glad this place is back open after restrictions! Such delicious food, the guys are always SO friendly, and really brighten up my lunchtime. So impressive how they’ve managed to make everything covid-safe without compromising on taste and options. Super healthy and definitely the best vegan option around. Thank you!!

Amazing food and service! The team are so lovely and accommodating. Food was cooked fresh in front of me and it made all the difference when devouring my lunch - so fresh and tasty. Excellent value for money - portions are huge. CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH.

The BEST Falafel in the UK

I have sampled falafel all across the UK and this place is by far, hands down the absolute best. The staff are friendly, polite and care so much about customer service. The pit door seating is authentic and gives you an excellent feeling of being ‘back home’ I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants to try fresh healthy Palestinian food.
