went here for some drinks and a nice view and wasn't disappointed. Cocktails were normal London prices £10-£13. Balcony view over tower of London and the rest of the city is very nice. Good service and no reservation needed but assume evening times will be busy.

The Sky Lounge is a lovely place to sit with a cocktail and enjoy the view of London, especially at night. Drinks were expensive though at £32 for 2 cocktails but they were perfectly made. The Almond & Honey was to die for (a new favourite!). Service also good with the staff coming to your table. Will definitely visit again.... More

Lovely place to relax and have a drink after a hectic day around London. The views are spectacular of the tower bridge, especially at night time.

During our overnight stay at the hotel we did have a couple of drinks at the Skylounge. Good selection of drinks available, lots of places to sit with amazing views. Staff were friendly but service was a little slow.

On the 12th floor of the Double Tree Hilton hotel, this offer excellent views of Tower Bridge. Great for brunch or an evening cocktail.

Was lucky enough to have fabulous weather so could sit outside and enjoy the views over a glass of wine. The food was lovely. Just had a light snack for lunch but it was very nice. Would recommend

On enter to the hotel we were warm welcomed with friesh coockies on the reception, and then we've been shown where is the Sky Lounge. Upstairs on the 12th floor where the bar was placed it's amazing grate view, excellent customer service and... More

Lacklustre and disappointing experience on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon. No smiles, no service, and as a result of that fatal mix, over priced to boot. A pity because setting is rather nice, with potential to be a good place if it only had a motivated, well lead team.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
