Arrived to a quaint and busy looking tea room; so far so good. Experienced grumpy staff who were stood around chatting, poorly looking after us. Selection of cakes were poor, although the vegans and those who are gluten free were catered for but those who aren't intolerant to anything were left with the dregs of cakes. No chocolate cake, or... More

Great London find! The tea room is located upstairs of the bar and even the entrance is concealed! Great selection of teas and cakes! It's frill-free and everything is served on porcelain dishware. Service is attentive! Local gem!

Friendly staff and tasty cakes, sandwiches and scones. We ordered prosecco which was a nice touch. With a little better organising this place could be even better they just need to get some preparation done. We waited ages for our cakes etc yet they knew we were coming. Staff lovely just a bit slow. Toilets downstairs in pub awful really... More

A quaint little tea room above a pub in the bustling SOHO area. Definitely worth the struggle in trying to find it! The class tea was delicious and included scones, cakes, and finger sandwhiches in addition to a pot of tea. Could not have been mroe pleased.

After having booked the tea room for me and the wife on valentines weekend, we were left with a bitter taste in our mouths. The waitresses, although friendly, genuinely don't seem to have any system in place to take orders. I asked for water 3 times. The food is tasty but I couldn't believe my eyes when I was told... We booked a table for 4 people at 6 p.m. and arrived at 5 p.m. We said to the bartender that we were early and waited patiently for our table to be ready. At 6 p.m, he told us that the table had been "double booked" and that it was not possible to go upstairs! Highly unprofessional and rude to... More

Went there for afternoon tea with a friend last Sunday 22nd January, having previously visited many times and enjoyed it. The service was awful, place was all full but it's tiny anyway and they had 3 waitresses. Took ages for them to take our order. First, they brought the tea and another waitress came to check what we've had ordered... More

This place is perfect if you like tea and cake in a quaint traditional setting. The pots of tea are huge, and the choice covers a whole variety of interesting blends. The cakes were a The only let down was the service, which was pleasant and friendly but very slow. Our waitress tried to take an order from us when... More

A friend and I were told we had to check out the secret tea room. We made reservations for around lunch time not knowing what to expect. We walked away full after having a pot of tea, finger sandwiches, cupcakes and dessert for a set price. The service was incredible and I would highly recommend a visit.

Wonderful, affordable cream tea and sandwiches with such friendly, sweet service! Absolutely loved! Got slightly lost entering but just the go into the pub called the Coach and Horses and they'll direct you upstairs to the tea room.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
