Booked for lunchtime for four. Nice ambience and busy, service was very good, well looked after for drinks. The food was good, although not big portions if you're very hungry but we had three courses anyway, which i easily put away. Meals varied between steak, fish and chips, and a burger. No complaints from anyone

This I more of a restaurant than a pub but locals do meet up at the bar on a regular basis. The food is good( and sometimes exceptional pub food. The beers and wines a re very good and the service id s always friendly. There is no outside space or seating.

We have been here a good few times but had not been since last summer. So we had a lovely walk on the common and came in for an early supper. Nice comfortable table for two in the back bar (public bar) and service friendly. The menu has slimmed down a bit and i felt the choice was limited but... More

Over priced, very slow service an the food was cold. Pretty disappointing all in all, especially when it wasn't overly busy.

I probably go here 2/3 times a year. Last time was for a 6 Nations Rugby game. Sat at the bar, had a couple of great beers, and a great Roast Beef and watched the game. Perfect Sunday lunch!

The vibe of the place is lovely on a winters day and the staff were very friendly. Worth a visit! We went for a Sunday roast, which was better than the average pub roast; however nothing too exciting unfortunately. There was a good selection of vegetables but the potatoes were quite dry. The meat was good but not melt in... More

Dont go here. Dont want anyone to know about it. You dont deserve the clean and today decoration, with well chosen art, the delicious and expertly sourced food, the talented cooking of the French brother (what was his other brother thinking at his up town restaurant). All restaurants should be like this one, but then again if they were, this... More

Our son suggested going here with his Mum's birthday upcoming. We needed a dog friendly pub with the idea of walking our dog on the Common before Sunday lunch. So he, his GF and ourselves had a nice stroll around the Common before heading to the pub. It's set in a side road, so not particularly picturesque but I didn't... More

Great place to stay in Wimbledon...only a 5 minute walk to the village. Stayed in the Wellington room which was a perfect place to stay for the night and was very comfy. Tea and coffee making facilities and water is in the room. Had a good selection including herbal teas. Bathroom had a shower and was spacious again with complimentary... More

Wow, I was really surprised to see a smattering of negative reviews on here! We've had lunch at the Fox and Grapes three times in the last couple of months and it was FANtastic every time! We've actually been eating here for the last 20+ years and the refurbished version is a big step up from the original (which I... More
