Excellent food (Especially the Sweet & Saour Prawnd chilly). Fast service. If you order " Aromaric Crispy duck" 1/2 portion is good enought for 2. Special reward to Maksda the waitress

Visted last week with a few friends after reading the other reviews and should had stay cleared. For the price the food is expensive but not much better than somewhere you find in chinatown. The service was the worse you can get in a higher tier establishment. The male waiter we had serving us was just not refined enough to... More

Madness at Victoria station (due to strikes) we sort tranquility in the chinese located on the corner inside the Grosvenor Hotel. It truly is a pleasant oasis from the chaos outside but there it ends. We went for the 'premier prix fixed course' option - sweet corn seafood soup (good), crispy duck with pancakes.........this is where the cold plates started... More

Located just a stone throw away from the Victoria station, it is one of the better Chinese restaurants in London, the Dim sum is lovely and the special of Turnip cakes is Amazing! Will definitely recommend that if you are in the area at a loss for what to have for lunch, pop in and see if they have a... More

This restaurant is located in the Grosvenor Hotel which is very close to the Victoria public transport stations. The interior design and layout is well planned to the highest standards for customers to enjoy very good Chinese cuisine in a luxurious setting and at a leisurely pace. Unlike the typical Chinese restaurants, the seating is very well spaced and there... More

Grand Imperial Restaurant is one of the better Chinese restaurants in London. The staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. We had roast duck and it was crispy, tasty, and succulent. The skin on the duck was crispy and left us wanting more. It was the best roast duck we have tasted in London, much better than the ones... More

We waited nearly 2 hours for basic rice. Do not go to this place if you have a group. We never had a designated waiter and they are trying to overcharge us for food we never received. I have never had worse service than this place anywhere in the world. I would have given this place a zero if I... More

Vic the bartender was great. Very friendly and professional. Great drinks. We did not eat at the restaurant so I can't tell you how the food is, but if the wait staff is as good as the bartender it's worth going.

Very Cantonese. The food was excellent as was the service. If you enjoy Chinese food, especially Cantonese this is the place.

Having tried a few places for Peking Duck, Grand Imperial is the best for this dish. Skilled waitresses slice the skin and pieces of flesh, removing the fat along the way. My favourite place for Peking Duck in London, and have yet to find anywhere that serves it better in London!

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
