Enjoyed a lovely family meal. Booked a couple of weeks before as it was a Saturday night in July. Service very good, food tasty, amazing views over the Thames from our table. One of our starters was forgotten but as soon as the waiter realised...More

We really enjoyed our Italian meal on the Thames. The nicest restaurants are always those you stumble on my chance, this was no exception. Food was great, service was good and the view of the Thames as the sun was setting was fabulous. Good expense...More

Really enjoyed the food, the staff is super friendly and manager Mohamed went above and beyond to make us comfortable. He is an asset the branch and the restaurant chain. The service was quick and the bathrooms were clean.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and just loved the appetizer of bread and warm cheese fondue. The pizza was good too!

Came for a quick dinner before an event, but it didn't end up being quite so quick. We were sat in the little 2 seater cubby hole upstairs in the corner which was really cute and had an amazing view, but it also ended up...More

Me and 3 friends ordered 4 mains and 4 drinks for lunch on 8 July. Only 3 dishes were made. Food was way over priced for what it was. Salad was tiny, pizza nothing special. Slightly embarrassed that I took friends here. Restaurant wasn't a...More

The food is good, the prices are reasonable, staff is attentive, but it is just the average Italian restaurant. Nothing was that impressive. Pizza and pasta were just okish. Moderate value for central London. Worth a visit if looking for Italian food in the area.

We had a delicious pre-show meal at Zizzi's. Using well rested dough my large pizza was hand prepared and cooked in a proper pizza oven to perfection while I watched. My partner reported a similarly delicious seafood meal. The restaurant overlooks the River Thames embankment...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved
browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Just a short walk from the famous Globe Theatre, our Bankside restaurant offers a nice rest for the weary London sightseers and stunning river views while you dine. The illustrations decorating the walls throughout the restaurant were inspired by the surrounding area - a hub of urban skateboard culture that involves spirit, music and fashion, illustrated by the artist Matthew Brooks. Look out for loads of other interesting details including skateboard decks, modern art and vespa scooters.
