The simple Chateaubriand steak (medium rare) with chips and cream spinach was amazing. Though, a 1 course meal for two with no alcohol is around £100 so make sure you check the price of your steak if your cost conscious! But, the steak is fantastic, quiet atmosphere (good for business discussions) and service attentive.

Went for Sunday lunch after seeing the review (7th best steak on earth) in the film Steak Revolution. Roast beef Sunday lunch on the table next door persuaded other half To go roast but I stuck to my rib-eye and dripping chips. Fab. I won. Amazing.

Advertised as Sunday roast, i'd been looking forward to visiting for a proper roast dinner all week. Arrived for our reservation at 6pm to be told no Sunday roast was left and that it was quite normal for them to run out. Needs to be advertised as Sunday lunch rather than Sunday roast

First visit to a Hawksmoor and loved it. Buzzing atmosphere and good friendly service; would have preferred one dedicated waiter/ess. Principal reason for the visit was a steak and each on was excellent; all cooked exactly as requested. Good wine selection and decent value for central London.

This was a late lunch but service was spot on. Liked the fact that our waiter went of shift and introduced us to who was taking over. We had the fixed 2 course menu. The steak was excellent and I suppose if only one of you was eating having the addition of only one side would have been sparse we... More

We visited here before a theatre meal. The staff were very friendly and the steaks were cooked just as we ordered them. I would defiantly recommend a visit to Hawksmoor as the whole meal was simply perfect and the interior decor is very nice. The location is also great as your right in the heart of London

Had to wait around 45mins but they've got a good system (where you recieve a text so you can walk around covent garden. The seating style is communal so if you're a small group you may be seated with others, which is actually quite nice. Once seated, you can enjoy some popcorn with need dripping(tastes nicer than it sounds). Now... More

Let me first start off by saying how easy the booking process was. Add to that, the fact I arrived to your reception at least half hour earlier than table time (15:00) expecting a wait, to be told we could be seated straight away. Paul, our waiter was an absolute pleasure, going through all our options on the menu, drinks... More
