The service was awful, the food was mediocre. The bill came and when we split it between us we were then told they had not billed us for the pot of tea we ordered. They had added on a service charge (as this was written...More

The Maharaji was empty on arrival. Checking the prices in the window we found them priceworthy. Linen napkins and tablecloth gave a good impression. You do expect the written information about the meals to tell you what costs extra. As none was given we assumed...More

I went to Maharaja's for dinner. We had samosas for starters and a chicken korma and a lamb biriyani as main course. Food was very nice. The restaurant is a bit narrow so you sit very close to other guests.

Friendly guys working hard, but food was poor. I eat Indian a lot and this was not up to scratch. Decent size portions though but won't be back.

Worse Indian meal I have ever had. Chicken was as dry as a bone, portions small, ( I have never seen a smaller nan bread) and way overpriced.

The entire menu, (which I worked my way through during several visits), is incredible, and the presentation is wonderful. The staff are professional, helpful and extremely engaging...More
