A proper pub with great food. Small pub, good beers and food. I had proper Shepherds Pie made with lamb mince and topped off with cheesy mash and served with peas. My partner had Fish and Chips with mushy peas...... a huge piece of fish...More

Close to our hotel but hesitant to go in because of poor reviews on Trip Advisor (the bogs). The food was best we had on our UK trip. and the WC was clean.

Arriving late evening I found this pub close to my hotel. My kind of place. Earthy, friendly and real. Only a small but a top place. Well worth popping in for a beef if you like real pubs!
